K N Geraldine Banks Morais I’ve tried many nail salons in Winter Park - from the most chic and expensive to the factory in and out salons. New York Nails however, provides by far the most professional, courteous and personal service I’ve ever come across. Jenny, the owner, along with all of her team take their time to listen to their clients, do not rush or push you into paying for an additional service that you do not want or ask for. I’ve been coming here a long time and always leave a very happy and of course relaxed customer! Thank you as always.

Miriam Libow WONDERFUL place! I am always seen quickly and respectfully and the prices are very reasonable. I usually get a regular pedicure and a dip manicure that are meticulously done and always last 2-3 weeks. The salon is always clean and customers have their own box with tools used only for them. They even do very impressive designs!! Jenny and Amy are always especially great

Tabitha Fletcher Highly recommend. They are recently under new management. The ladies were kind and caring. My mom and I called 10 minutes ahead and were taken care of right away upon arrival. We both got pedicures. The price is reasonable, the salon is very clean and has a great atmosphere Overall, we had a great experience and will return in the future.

Jennifer Leiva New York Nails is a gem of a salon! Jenny and the others always make you feel welcome and leave you feeling great! The ambiance they have created is so peaceful. I always look forward to my appointments with them! Thank you Jenny for creating such a soothing environment!

Brooke Goff Truly the best and most intentional nail salon I have been too. They are timely, clean, kind, professional, remember all of their customers by name and truly care about the customer! Been coming for over 7 years and have never had a bad experience! Not to mention you cannot beat their prices and quality of service.

Cassandra V I’ve always been uncomfortable in nail salons, was never a girl to get her nails done but wanted to start pedicures for overall health. This salon was close by, I’ve passed it before and it just felt nice. I will never go anywhere else; I’ve moved, and now I drive about an hour to be here every month or so. It’s those places where you can see how the employees enjoy their jobs, pride and dedication of the business owners - who offer amazing and friendly service themselves, and a luscious salt water fish tank that is mesmerizingly calm where you enjoy fish keeping or haven’t before.

Margarita Medina I have been going to L’Amour nails for about 3 years and first of all my nails have never been longer. Victoria is amazing. Love her ❤️ Tim is super amazing with my pedicure, he takes his time and does an amazing job. Best leg massage ever. I have been to a few nail nail salons in Casselberry and Aloma until I found L’Amour Nails and Spa they are so pleasant and friendly. The girls are also very nice Chantel love her Stephanie is also very good. The salt water fish take is so relaxing I love it.

bailey boss babe Stefanie is the best nail tech I have ever been to. A true artist when it comes to my nails. I’ve been going here for years and it’s my favorite place to visit. The salon is beautiful and clean. I tell everyone to go here because I get so many compliments on my nails!

Rita Aldaz I was refer here by a friend. When I say I love this place I mean it. Tim and Victoria are so amazing. I love how they take their time. I live a good 40 minutes away but it’s definitely worth the drive.

Sym Love Beautiful salon, great service with an amazing atmosphere! Has so much potential and I wanted to come back but it’s just not a salon for long natural nails or me. Wendy is awesome and sweet! She took her time and delivered a beautiful set. Mallory is great too, who repaired one of my nails. Problem is, this is my nails currently and it hasn’t even been a week yet. Immediately, I noticed that the nails were bending/more flexible than I am used to with getting builder gel which caused some pain. UPDATE: the owner called me and apologized for my experience and even admitted some fault in their process. I appreciate the follow up and was even given a refund. I can admire the accountability and professionalism of this salon. Wish I could give them another shot but I have since moved to the UK

Elena Sledge This is a cute spot and I’ve been a few times now. I had a great experience with Emerald. She worked efficiently and I loved her attention to detail! She was easy to talk to and I felt like she really cared about my experience. My manicure looks cute and clean! I’ll definitely be back to see her. It can be hard to find a great nail tech and she definitely is great at what she does.

Daralyn Chase A Game-Changer for Healthy, Gorgeous Nails! I cannot say enough good things about this nail salon! After struggling with a persistent skin rash on both hands due to harsh nail products, I was ready to give up on manicures altogether. Then I discovered this salon, which offers a healthier alternative for sculpted gel nails—completely free of toxic, carcinogenic chemicals. Not only did my rash clear up, but my nails have never looked better! The salon itself is absolutely luxurious and relaxing—every detail is designed for comfort. And I have to give a special shoutout to Apple, who is an amazing nail tech! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and her massages are simply fabulous. If you’re looking for beautiful nails without the damage or health concerns, this is the place to go. I’m beyond grateful to have found them!

Jessica Burns The staff is so friendly and professional. It is always clean in the salon and they rotate out their retail offerings regularly. My tech, Emerald, always knocks it out of the park and the owner (Casey) is so sweet. I would highly recommend Paint Winter Park.

mlyavull My first time coming and this place is too cute! Everyone was SO pleasant to speak with and my experience was wonderful. Kaila took care of me and I chose a cool light purple cat eye look for my pedicure. As an 80s baby, the music was on point. Definitely recommend and I will be returning for my next set!

Rosa Saa One person worked on my toes (which came out amazing) while another worked on my hands. They did them at the same time. I was like crossing my arms over each other which wasn’t relaxing at all. I don’t like the way my hands came out as you can clearly see her technique of putting a chunk of white nail polish over the pink color and then “removing” the white part until it’s skinny enough to be French. There is like glue on my skin as well. I wish I just had the person who did my toes do my hands, as her technique was much more clean. I’m upset with how my hands came out, as she also barely cleaned off the white on my skin. I’m coming back to complain. Overall though, they were very kind and helpful with assisting a color that matches my dress. Great customer service.

Caroline Teague I love pampering myself at Maitland Nails & Spa! They have an excellent team, and are consistently great. My nails always receive many compliments. Tony keeps my nails in great shape and is always so careful when removing polish, buffing and filing. I highly recommend making an appointment at Maitland Nails & Spa.

Amy Finn I am visiting from Boston and took my girls in for a Valentine’s Day pamper session. The staff was phenomenal. I probably had the best pedicure of my life. Splurge and get yourself the signature it’s so worth it. We will be back next time we are in town!

Ashley Eldred We tried Maitland Nails & Spa for the first time, and it quickly won our #1 nail salon choice. The service was top-notch and friendly. They were incredibly thorough and provided suggestions and options for current and future nail choices. I was doing dip overlays and had a natural nail that was chipped and would have ruined the anesthetic. My technician took the initiative and masterfully performed a fix with the dip so that you couldnt even tell there had ever been an issue and my nails look better than they ever have before. The attention to detail and the time and patience put into our services were appreciated and set them apart from many other salons we have tried in the greater Orlando area. We cant wait to return for our next salon service. Thanks so much!

Kayla Fuzzell I’m new to Winter Park and I’m always passing Embellished nail spa because I live so close. I went in for the first time today and I’m absolutely blown away! I got a gel manicure and I am so amazed with the results! Miriam, Noya and the nail techs were so kind and welcoming! Not only that, they are so so talented and very detail oriented! They were super thorough with the removal of my old dip and the detail they put into prepping my nails and cuticles before doing my new nail design was astonishing! I’ve never been to a nail spa that has had such great nail prep and also application!! I feel like you get one or the other at most places, not both! Funny enough, I didn’t even look at their Instagram until after I got my nails done because I went mostly off the first couple Google reviews, and their Instagram blew my mind!!! These nail techs are so stinkin talented!!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! For sure 6 star worthy!!! Thank you Noya for my beautiful nails!!!

Karen Brantley Cathy is AMAZING! She makes me nails look beautiful every single time and is always down to do whatever nail look I ask for. I came in and asked her to turn my nails into Taylor Swift friendship bracelets and she KILLED it. I get so many compliments on my nails every time I get them done by her. My friend and I both go to Cathy and after every appointment we text each other our nails with the caption “casual Cathy slay!!!”

Haley Roecker I’ve been seeing Cathy for a few months now and she is AMAZING! After my first visit I knew she was my new go-to nail girl. I went from dip manicures to the hard gel and my nails are so much stronger and healthier. Cathy is so talented, I 100% recommend booking with her!

TiffanyAutumn I absolutely LOVE this nail salon even though I live a good 30 minutes away from here I love coming here to get my nails done and it’s worth the drive I’ve had both John and Mj both absolutely amazing artists John has done an amazing starwars set for me earlier this year in May that came out amazing , and my most recent set was from Mj she explained how hard gel works and helped me get on the right track to get my broken brittle feeling nails back to good health and the cute spooky design we came up with was absolutely fantastic! I would recommend this place to anyone I will definitely keep coming back

Katelyn Moré I visited this morning for a gel pedicure and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The polish application was, quite frankly, one of the worst I’ve ever seen—uneven, messy, and lacking any attention to detail. It’s frustrating to spend time and money expecting professional service, only to leave feeling upset and dissatisfied.

Was able to book gel manicure and deluxe pedicure with gel polish right away, no waiting. Tons of color selections to choose from. Nail tech did a wonderful job, wasnt rough on my nail beds and cuticles when filing and shaping. Very happy with my experience overall and pricing is competitive. Will be my "go to" spot when visiting family again in the future!

The Dozier Family I am so happy I found this place. They are incredibly nice and so accommodating when I have walked in. I am always so happy with how my nails turn out. Have even brought my kids and they do a phenomenal job with them. This last time I had Jenny she was absolutely wonderful!

Holly Morgan If youre not getting your nails done here, you are ABSOLUTELY missing out! One of the most beautiful salons on the inside, pictures dont do the place justice at all. Atmosphere was so relaxing and cheerful. The service is over the moon! The entire staff was amazing. Came here on a recommendation from one of my girlfriends and so glad we went because I wont go anywhere else after the first trip. The talent is in the pictures, just look at their Google reviews! Megan Angulo I have been going to ombré nail bar for almost 3 1/2 years. I highly recommend them. They are so sweet. From the front desk to check out. You can have a drink on them including wine or a mimosa. Dana has been the amazing nail artist who has done my nails since day one and is the best!!! She always tries new things I bring in from Pinterest. I’ve had other nail artists when she isn’t available and I’ve also had a great experience but Dana is always my #1!!! She did my engagement nails, wedding nails, and will soon do my baby shower nails.

Nicole Martinez I had my first full set appointment today with Johnny (table 5) and my second pedicure done by Angela. The staff is always welcoming as walk-ins are accepted. Johnny was professional, focused and dedicated to satisfying my requests and design. Angela is quiet and she takes her time. They offer mimosas, wine and other beverages while waiting in the lobby or during your service which is nice and helps you relax. If you’re looking for good service, quality products and a clean space to get your nails, toes or waxing done, this is a good place. The only downside may be wait times if you’re in a rush, time crunch or don’t have an appointments scheduled. I’ll be back in two weeks!

Roda Carter Perfection achieved! Bliss’ Deluxe includes mask, hot towels plus paraffin wax dip! Gently removed old gel polish without excessive drilling and digging. No worn down nail bed with that grow-out line! Can we preserve the health of our nail beds please? YES. That’s normal practice at Bliss. Due to taking good care of my nails, my nail bed is raised, rounded and smooth. So OK, I went for another round of gel, mani / pedi without any concerns. This time, OPI Snow White with a fine white glitter for a sparkling touch on nails. Matching toes except Chrome finish. Relaxing spa music and view of the pond, ducks, lake and sunset made my treatments very blissful. Jason did my toes (he remembered everything I told him when I was there 6 weeks ago! I couldn’t even remember.) The nail techs are the best in town PERIOD. I was so lucky to have the owner, Jessica do my nails as they came out absolutely perfect. But everyone there is talented and so focused on their work. I arrived less than an hour before closing, still they were happy for a walk-in. Warm and friendly greeting by the owners, as usual. Parking lot is always congested so plan ahead. It’s so worth it.

Renee Antionette First, let me say they are the best in Winter Park Florida. I have been to every nail salon in this area. They start off good and then slack, people move, business is sold, etc. etc. or basically quality of work goes down. I have contracted toe fungus from two different places. I will not name here in Winter Park because I only give good reviews. Sorry. JESSICA is one of the best nail technicians I have ever been to. I would have to say artist she is fantastic!! I sought out someone that took pride in his or her work, cared, and was consistent, thank God I found Jessica. My toenails were in horrible shape unhealthy from the toenail fungus and in one year my toenails are grown out and getting healthier every day. My fingernails are another story I have had gel, dip, acrylic, tips with all of it, finally I got so upset about going nail salon to nail salon, chipping, nails, breaking nails. Again thank you Jessica So now I really wish I would’ve taken it before picture, she did a build gel I believe on my nails. I’m gonna attach some pictures. My favorite place in town. I love to look out at the lake at sunset and have a nice relaxing pedicure. It’s wonderful if people would stay off their cell phones while others are trying to relax that’s my only gripe and the people that do that please respect others. Some of us are there to relax and get away from business and family, not hear you take care of your business or deal with family issues. Please respect others. This place is the cleanest place. I have found in town. I owned a spa for many many years and sanitation Is my number one things to look out for, this place gets five stars. Don’t hesitate book today everyone is super nice and good at what they do.

Ally Kru I am so lucky I found this place! First salon I went to since moving here. Have gone a few times and had Emily do my nails each time. This last time, I told her I wanted jelly nails like gummy bears and she even found these cute bear charms to add! I have really sensitive cuticles, and she is the first ever to not cause them to peel. The salon itself is large and clean. I never see anyone having to wait to get service. Very competitive pricing too! 10/10 recommend.

Shandrika McGhee-Bey First time coming was today. Entire staff was welcoming and friendly. My pedicure was so relaxing and the woman was so gentle which I love. My nail tech Etheral was amazing. I went to her for 6 years and I have moved this year and if I could have taken her with me I would I have not found a nail artist like her since Ive moved out of state :( The shop is perfect to relax but make sure you book an appointment her time she is focused on you and nothing els I never in 6 years had a bad set or any issue her and her family are the sweetest people ever my grandma still goes to her as well and I will go every time I come to winter park!!!! You will not want to go to any one els I literally miss her!!

Marie R Pinky is, hands down, the best nail artist I’ve ever worked with. She has a natural instinct and talent for picking colors, and I frequently defer to her when choosing my next look. Frankly, it’s an arrangement I love and appreciate because otherwise, I’d be picking the same colors from week to week and never living outside my color comfort zone. I trust and value her opinions. She does quality work and is meticulous with ensuring your new set has no lifting, bubbles, etc. I often observe my nails looking healthier under the dipping powder she uses. A new set or fill with Pinky lasts forever and you know that kind of durability is worth its weight in gold; I can get a little rough with my hands. Lol Additionally, getting a pedicure at Pinky’s is always a pleasure and the accompanying foot massage is always heavenly. My toes always sparkle and my feet have never been softer. I appreciate how hygienic she keeps the spas and equipment. It’s just another reason I trust her implicitly. I will never stray from Pinky’s expertise and service. She has made a lifelong customer in me.

Wild Finally a place that can make nails look natural and beautiful! Sally is amazing at design and May is amazing with polish; she takes her time and cleans the nail perfectly!

Tracy Fordham I’ve been looking for a place I like for a while now. Been going to Pristine for a few months now (I won’t say who bc I don’t want her to get too busy for me ;)) and they are the best! I’m super picky about how I like my nails done. They have 100s of colors—lots of Opi—so not stingy about trying to use knockoff brands/colors. I highly recommend them.

Taylor Nash Didnt get the color I picked it. David was super nice did my nails and toes but I feel the service couldve been better for what I paid. Everything is smudged and messed up, didnt clean under my nails after filling the acrylic.

Bibi Ali Service was terrible. The girl that did my nails rushed to do them. She applied the topcoat on my toenails really fast and you can see a clear line where it dried and it’s separate from the nail polish. On top of that when I chose my color for my nail it was on a fake nail that appeared to look as if the color was solid and not transparent. As she did my nails I noticed the more coats she put on it never actually covered my nail. When I asked her about it she was like “well that’s why I showed you”. She was rude and did not even offer me another option but made me pay for my nails. I would never recommend this place. I will call them tomorrow to give them a chance to correct this for the removal of my review. But, I’ve read that they are constantly making unhappy customers pay without offering any assistance to make it better and that is really sad.

Terra Mehaffey Jay has been my nail tech for years. Even when I moved to nj for a couple months I would come back every other weekend to take care of clients but my nail appt came first. Thanks Jay! I usually get pinks with chrome, ombré, or something very natural.

Tracy M Pink & white short acrylic no polish, no cuticle care was $65 + tip. Too expensive. I wont be back. Im not one to make a scene & argue about price but will definitely warn the next person if I feel I need to. I let my nail tech know that I dont usually get my nails done and asked around after. Im definitely convinced she took advantage when I told her that. Ask for price ahead of time if youre going to get services from this nail salon.

Veena C This is the FIRST AND ONLY time I’ve gone to the nail salon with a vision, and felt like I actually walked out with what I wanted. I booked an appointment online for a pedicure and gel-X set. I did call ahead to say I wanted velvet nails in the hopes of being assigned a technician that knew how to do it. The place is clean and staff is friendly. If you get a pedicure, you’re able to get a glass of wine/champagne/things like that on the house. The drinks are not allowed in the area where they do your hands. Something that stood out to me about this place is that every time the tech tried to offer additional services she was extremely upfront about how much extra it would cost. The other thing that stood out is when I explained what type of nails I wanted, they mentioned they would do a sample. While we were prepping my nails, the technician did a quick sample of two looks to determine what I wanted. That honestly made all the difference in the world. The look, I thought I wanted actually didn’t pan out and I was able to identify that by the sample. I believe my technician’s name was Tammy (I wish I had done this review sooner so I could remember, I’m sorry!!!). I had a great experience and I felt like their pricing was reasonable. I don’t often get my nails done professionally but the next time I’m relieved to know I have a spot!

Emma Smith I made a last minute appointment here for a manicure & pedicure before a vacation. I haven’t been to a nail salon in ages since it’s typically pretty pricey, but I looked at the prices on line and found they seemed really reasonable for a salon in Winter Park. I got the Bahamas pedicure with Andy, and as someone who typically detests getting pedicures, Andy made sure everything was comfortable. He was extremely friendly, personable and helpful. He helped me choose a great color, provided really lovely conversation and really did a fantastic service (the foot massage was top tier). He also then set me up with the technician who did my gel extension manicure. Nancy took over for my gel extensions and I was also thoroughly impressed by her as well! Not only was she so kind and personable, she was detail oriented and did a beautiful job shaping and styling my nails. I added a manicure service on to my gel extension service and Nancy really helped make my terribly messy cuticles look tidy and clean again so they my new manicure looked perfect! After 12 days of hiking and doing water activities, my nails still fantastic. For the price for the manicure & pedicure, it’s easy to say that this is WELL worth the price and I will be back. Thank you for a really great experience!

Eliana First time getting Gel X and Karly absolutely killed it! Definitely one of my favorite sets and I can’t wait to come back for more designs. Karly was so nice and checked with me during the whole process to make sure I was happy with everything every step of the way! Can’t wait to come back!

Marylenas Nunez Found this Gem while driving through Winter Park and based on reviews decided to give them a try; and so glad that I did! I had an idea what I wanted but after describing to the nail tech; she recommended the “Baby Boomer” (basically an ombré French manicure) and it turned out perfect!! She was fast and let me know they provide a one stop-beauty shop: nails, pedi, lashes and wax. I live about 15min away but I will be traveling over anyway! Great spot!

Locd and Braided By Alisha I went to Gem nail Spa on New Year Eve, I was beyond pleased with my gel overlay! I receive compliments every day!!! The nail tech was thorough and her work was very neat. I found my new nail salon and they offer so much more! I came back for a brow wax and will return for permanent brows & other beauty services!
