Jade Oliver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such a wonderful experience at 808 Salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was clean, calming, and welcoming. Katherine made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. I got a Full set, and pedicure, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Katherine was meticulous, gentle, and clearly very skilled. She took the time to shape my nails perfectly and helped me choose a color that suited me. I really appreciated her attention to detail and how she checked in with me throughout the process. What stood out the most was how inviting and clean everything was, which made me feel completely at ease. They also use high-quality products, and my nails have lasted beautifully without any chipping. It’s hard to find a place that balances great service, talent, and a relaxing vibe, but 808 salon truly delivered. I’ve already recommended them to friends and will definitely be back!

Elizabeth Blanco She is not welcoming at all, she changed the initial price she had told me within seconds, from $55 to $75, clearly wanting to see how much money she could get from me. She did not seem to have very good customer skills, didn’t even crack a smile as I came in. I felt uncomfortable during the brief exchange and fairly, due to the instant price change I did not stay so I can’t say whether her abilities as a hairstylist are.

Terri Hobbs Second time here & first time for a Keratin treatment. I didn’t have an appointment, but showed up shortly after they opened. Javier was absolutely amazing. He took his time & made sure it was perfect. I finally found my forever salon. All the staff is courteous & helpful. I went in looking like one of the Muppets & came out looking better then I ever have. Next time I’ll definitely make an appointment first.

Abi Guerra I get my nails done here all the time and they never disappoint! Astrid is my nail tech and she does an amazing job each time and never ceases to amaze me. It is a bilingual salon so it’s great for those who speak spanish or english. There’s always a great environment in the shop and everyone is so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend coming here!

Danielle did an absolutely amazing job—my hair looked gorgeous and stayed all night long. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. daria carrasquillo I was not impressed. If I’m paying to get my hair done it should look better than I can do myself. The products they use are ineffective also. The liquid glass is supposed to get rid of frizz for 3 days. It does not, don’t let them up charge you LOL. When the woman was done, she didn’t even ask me if I liked it..I didn’t. Also she was too rough with the brush I could feel her breaking my hair and pulling out. Just overall not a pleasant experience.

Krystal Fong One stop shop! This place has everything you need to look and feel good. You can get a high-quality facial. Get a nice, relaxing, manicure pedicure. You can pretty much get anything done to your hair from a simple trim to adding luxurious extensions. Also, while youre waiting, you can check out their cute boutique that is always changing with the seasons. This is my favorite neighborhood Salon Spa & boutique!

Emily Weihs Amazing salon with talented hairdressers and aestheticians. It’s so refreshing when I can trust my hairdresser to always make me feel my best and help me keep my hair healthy and beautiful. I always receive compliments when I leave my appointment. I also get my facials, and eyebrows done there and my skin has never looked so good. The boutique is also a plus because if I have an event, I can always count on picking out some jewelry to go with my outfit for the evening.

Tara Botter Songyea has been doing my eyebrows for microblade and lips for lip shading for years now. I’m amazed how long it last. I get compliments daily on her artistry because what she does is true art. She takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and is very convenient. I have been getting my eyebrows done for over 9 years and started with songyea 3 years ago and she is by far the best. I used to go to ones in NYC that had 3 month waiting list and would 100 times over pick her.

Aristea Massey If there are zero stars I would give them that. I went in with a picture of what I wanted and came out with something other than what I showed her. Save your money and don’t ever go to this place !! Scissor happy is an understatement! Supposedly she’s the manager. Her name is Janet. Save yourself the trouble. I’m sure she’s a nice person but she doesn’t belong in the hair industry and if this is all nshe know how to do then she needs to stick with cutting men’s hair since she cannot handle female hair. Please note this is not a personal attack on this woman but taking scissors and cutting off someone’s hair as horrible as she did mine should never be allowed. I wanted a simple layer bob to my chin and my hair is completely gone. This is not ok. Pics to follow.

Marta Zakrajšek I had waxing at salon with Carole. I asked to be cautious when applying the wax around bikini line due to my sensitive skin. She said their wax adjusts to every type of skin. I got serious burns and was unable to wear underwear for two days.

Spiro Debbie Ive been a loyal client of Veronicas for three years. Before Covid, my very curly long hair was chemically straightened (for years). When I decided to embrace my natural curls and grew them out during the pandemic, I really struggled with the texture and manageability. Thankfully, Veronica expertly guided me through this transition and introduced me to the BB Cream treatment. It has been a complete game-changer! My long curls are now beautifully tame and manageable, and I even have the option to blow it out straight when I want. I had a free detailed consultation, and an amazing treatment with collagen to hydrate and reconstruct my very damaged hair. I have used harsh straightening products for decades! My hair was brittle and lifeless. Anyone can relate? The following week I had a haircut that was perfect for my hair type and volume and I also had my natural color fully restored ! I have now been going weekly through a great program the establishment offers, and I get the best hair masks and hair treatments ever ! My hair went from “ dead Brillo look” to super soft , manageable, filled with shine and lots of compliments , and not to mentioned how wonderful it smells ! All this in a beautiful cordial super friendly and happy atmosphere! The staff and management, make me feel as I have been part of their customer family base forever ! The hairstylists are very nice , accommodating and top professional experts! Front of the house goes beyond the call of duty to help customers! I am so glad I was referred by a friend to this Sallon. I have been looking for this type of hair care for a long long time ! Highly recommend a visit and consultation ! All this trickles down from the owner who is one of the funniest , nicest , caring talented professionals you will meet! And no , I am not related or long time friend of anyone that works there! NEW GRACE I recently visited Darma Hair Salon and was blown away by the service and experience I received. From the moment I walked into the salon, to the consultation, to the text message updates, it was on another level. I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The entire team, their chemistry, and the respect they have for each other are something I cant pass up. Every stylist, from the front desk, took the time to listen to me and offer suggestions to get the color I wanted. The skill and precision were evident in every step of the process. The products are high quality and they explained to me every step they performed and why. If it doesnt suit you, if you have to wait to get what you want done, if your hair cant handle the process, they will tell you because they wont risk the health of your hair. As a Latina, I always get reddish, orange, or copper colors, and neutralizing them has been a battle. I was delighted with the result. If you are looking for or have been waiting for a change with expert stylists with years of experience who are constantly up to date on the latest styles, color techniques, and cuts, dont think twice. I think they make the transformations on the spot, miracles will take a little longer, but they surely achieve them. I am a true believer that good things are shared. They also have a VIP plan that I think is spectacular and convenient.
