Her talent and expertise are next level. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease in her beautifully designed and clean salon. It is a pleasure to be in her presence and she is very kind and compassionate. Jen is a true blonde specialist. She knows exactly how to achieve the perfect blonde shades, whether it’s platinum, honey shades or a soft and sun-kissed look. Her expertise with highlights, balayage and color blends is incredible, and she really takes the time to understand what your aesthetic is and what will look best. I left the salon with hair that not only looked stunning but also felt healthy and vibrant—something I’ve been missing for quite some time. The entire experience was top-notch, from the friendly staff to the calming atmosphere. I also saw Miranda for highlights twice and she is phenomenal! Funny, sweet and super talented. My hair has always been very long and thick, so I wanted to cut off several inches, but still have a good length. I also wanted a pop of color, which ended up being a pink/red and it turned out amazing. I really really loved it. I had even walked to the appointment and Monique was kind enough to give me a ride home. I was so impressed and so over the moon with the whole experience.

I came in asking for her professional opinion as I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the previous stylist’s work. Rikki gave me her evaluation and walked me through everything we needed to do to get it to the look I was hoping to attain. She gave me the price before hand which is nice. A lot of salons just surprise you at the end. Two hours of work and I was left with beautiful, blended hair. It felt and looked so much better than I came in. I felt very comfortable with Rikki and felt like she wasn’t just rushing through the appointment. It felt like she took all the right steps to get my hair looking great. Will be coming back to see her again. Highly recommend this salon.

Sarah Leiva HK salon is a great addition to downtown Hollywood. It has a beautiful chic interior design and a very chill and welcoming vibe. I’ve been going to Teresa a few years now and no longer trust anyone else with my color. I was traveling out of state and hadn’t seen her in a while, but came in with an idea of what I’d like for my color which was really grown out and she achieved EXACTLY what I had envisioned! She also gave me an amazing dry curly cut and is well versed in curly/textured hair. I highly recommend booking with her, you won’t be disappointed.

Heather Dailey I was referred to DA Hair Studio because my hair needed some serious TLC and my regular stylist retired. Well, I am so glad to have found my hair and scalp doctor; Dee is a true professional with serious skills. She made sure I understood everything she was recommending and brought my hair back to life. She also made sure I didn’t get a service that would further damage my hair; she educated me. Never have I had a scalp treatment, but Dee added it because, as I now understand, healthy hair starts from within and at the scalp. Wow, who knew how amazing a scalp treatment would feel. Though it is intended to help the scalp and hair, especially as my hair is starting to thin around my forehead and temples, I felt tension easing from my head to my ankles. To end this awesome appointment, I left with hair that looked fresh, healthy, nourished and beautiful. She added dimension to my long hair through amazing layers with so much weight being lifted, and instead of additional damage though highlights, she did a treatment and glazing, which totally helped my existing colors to be toned, yet pop in a very natural looking way. Definitely exceeded expectations; it was an amazing experience. Needless to say, my next appointment is booked. The search for a new stylist, or should I say “hair doctor”, is over. Janine Anbinder I usually dont leave much reviews, but I have to share that I was looking for a place to take the frizz out of my hair without formaldehyde because I just had a baby (not breastfeeding) and was scared to have the smell of chemicals next to my baby. Ana and another very nice girl (sorry I forgot her name), were very nice and took care of me and gave me all the tips and recommendations to get the result I was expecting. We decided to do the black diva treatment and indeed I left the place without the chemical smell and my hair was so straight that you could almost see a reflection of someone on the picture, lol!
