Scott Gilman: Im extremely disappointed in Space Coast. When I opened the savings account they told me there were "no fees". I left the money there knowing it would get a little interest and I would have it if I needed it. Its been a little over 4 years since I looked at it. I trusted them. I logged in today and see that they started charging me a fee for leaving my money there without using it. No notice, just started charging me. And since its an online account they did nothing to try to let me know. When I called in and asked them if they could reverse it, they told me it was required by law. Couldnt be reversed. So I looked. From everything I can see in the regs, both state and federal, that is not true. Now I have 2 choices. Close the account or remember to do a transaction every year or so. Want to guess which it will be?

Mindy Ward: This is not the old Sunshine Accounting. Shannon is no longer there. The new owner never even introduced himself to us - I still have no idea who did my taxes. He did share that he and his Dad bought the business from Shannon. Paid a premium - did not receive a nice organized folder of all our tax documents (something Shannon used to always do). Also had to explain how to file some of our tax documents. We lack confidence that our stuff is even filed correctly. The office was incredibly disorganized (paper work of others thrown about and in piles) The new owner rolled in seconds before our appointment was to begin, wearing less than professional clothing. It was clear he had never even looked at our account prior to us being there in the room. When he was done entering our information he had us leave the office to get everything printed and signed in the waiting area - while the receptionist hacked a lung up. We will be finding another tax accountant next year.
