I started with Burrowes in 2018. My agent was Mary who was very good. Once Mary was no longer there I received different agents each renewal. Asking questions or getting assistance was like pulling teeth. Finally ended up with Citizens due to all insurance companies requiring new roof even without having any issues if the roof was 20 yrs old. I don’t blame this agency for that but I blame them for not trying to assist when I did get a new roof and could get another insurance company. They said that I couldn’t get another company but Citizens sent me a letter a couple of months later to state I could get a new insurance. I called these people again nothing. I called another agency and hooray new insurance. I contacted Burrowes to cancel Citizens. Guess what even that was too difficult for them to accomplish.I received a bill from Citizens a month after I canceled. I contacted Burrowes on 2/14 (still to this day haven’t heard from them) but today I received a letter from Citizens for cancellation due to non payment. If I could give your company a -1 I would. I wish the letters from Citizens had a number to contact them directly instead of giving your company information because you served no purpose.
Update of the issues as of today:
I have been with another agency since 2022 but I have received a bill from an insurance company for a new policy with a company I have never been insured with Burrowes showing as the agency. This again proves this companies inability to handle clients properly. I truly hope this is the last time I have to deal with this company because I find them inept.
