The gym feels cleaner, more organized, and way more positive. The staff is friendlier, the equipment is well maintained, and the overall vibe just motivates you to show up. I’m really happy with the changes — highly recommend this place!

5 /5 Tanner Boehning: This is the best gym around! Its honestly a hidden gem, 24/7 hours, turf area, glute room, posing room, saunas. You can’t beat it at this price. The gym is always clean and stocked up on paper towels and sanitizer sprays. The trainers and staff are all very friendly. The General manager Viet is always there when I workout and he always greets me with a smile! He’s also a body builder so he can answer all your gym questions. #epic

Suzy Tramontelli: I am on month 2 of doing 2x a week small group classes with St. Pete Strength Club and I am really enjoying it. I can notice additional mobility and overall strength improvements even in 2 months. All of the coaches at the gym are knowledgeable, personable and seem to genuinely care about helping you improve. What I was not expecting was how warm and welcoming the class environment is. Every member seems to want to help each other succeed and motivate you to do your best - PR or not. Give this place a try if you want an inclusive but kick ass workout.

Kelly Klein: My husband and I recently started exercising at Bay City Fitness and we really enjoy it. Prior to starting these classes a few weeks ago, I hadn’t lifted weights in 5+ years but the transition back has been way easier than I would have otherwise anticipated. The workout is effective, the instructions are always very clear and the music and dim lighting makes for a fun & comfortable environment when you’re new. We’ll be back!!

The atmosphere is incredibly positive & welcoming and the gym itself is top-notch, with high-quality equipment that is well-maintained, clean and thoughtfully laid out. The staff is friendly, supportive & committed to helping members succeed. I talked to one of their coaches, Bill Palmer, on my first day at the gym and I can’t say enough great things about my experience so far. Working with Bill has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health & well-being. He designed an exercise program that is quickly helping me achieve fitness goals I thought were out of reach. Bill’s depth of knowledge is incredible, as is his constant encouragement & support along the way. While I will miss having The Gym right around the corner in Tierra Verde, I will absolutely be following them to their new spot in SPB & excited to see what’s ahead. If you’re looking for a gym & staff that will inspire you to reach your goals & take your fitness journey to the next level, look no further. I give 5+ stars to Coach Bill Palmer and The Gym Tierra Verde!

PAUL E DOBRACKI: This is a great gym, especially if you want a hassle free workout. No large groups of youths working out and sitting on the equipment socializing. Definitely a mature crowd, not just in age but in the seriousness of working out. Feels like a private club. Never crowded, plenty of equipment, never a wait for equipment. The cleanest gym I’ve been to in a long time. Every time I’ve been there,there has been an attendant on duty making sure it stays that way. I’ve haven’t seen any broken equipment. Finally the staff is great. Katie and Tom were able to answer all my questions when I came to check out the facility. I felt so comfortable there that I joined that day. No regrets at all, really enjoy working out here Final line, if you are looking for a club that’s clean, well maintained, well equipped and not crowded, this is the club to join. Ask for Katie.

F45 Training St. Petersburg - St. Petersburg

Chris Idaris: Went to my first F45 class today and as a beginner I was honestly terrified. From the second I walked in the door the trainers welcomed me and showed me around. Brett and Tori were very encouraging and corrected me on my form throughout the class which as a beginner I greatly appreciated. Everyone in the class was friendly and no one was judgemental which was something I was worried about joining as a beginner. My only regret is that I didn’t listen to my friends about joining sooner! If you are a beginner and want a gym that is encouraging, welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental I highly recommend giving F45 a shot.

Emmy Thach: I highly recommend this gym to anyone in the area. i have cycled through various gyms in the past and this by far is the best long term. this amped location embraces such a safe and positive space. from the front desk team to the cleaning staff they are all incredibly hard working and personable. furthermore, i must strongly advocate for my trainer, fiona. she is an absolute powerhouse within these walls internally & externally she is undoubtedly an exceptional asset to this gym. fiona possess a wide range of knowledge regarding fitness/ wellness, she is passionate and committed to ensuring the best results for her clients. she curates thoughtful / intentional workout plans tailored to my goals to maximize my proficiency at the gym and offered incredible insight to prioritizing one’s fitness and health. i can not advocate for fiona’s performance enough as a trainer and as an employee overall. i am beyond impressed & inspired by her tenaciously infectious attitude during our sessions i always look forward to them & suggest her to everyone.

Has a variety of different machines and weight-loading machines, free weights, cable machine area, benches, lifting platforms, 3 stairmaster, elliptical, some treadmills, assault bikes, posing room, multiple saunas, and cold plunges (cold plunge us extra). Rarely have to wait for a particular machine/bench. The owners are good people, friendly and helpful.

Studio Physique - St. Petersburg

Lisa Reneé: Full body workout in a clean studio with trained instructors! Several classes to choose from everyday including Saturday and Sunday. A variety of class types and a variety of classes instructors let you pick what’s best for you on your own schedule. Chris, the owner, is hands on and has great communication with the students and instructors. This is definitely my favorite place for a hard fun workout!
