1 /5 Austin Somers: My fiancé was browsing the mall and stopped here to just browse and ended up purchasing an anklet in which they had to "modify" so they convinced her to pay up front over $400. The jewelry took weeks to be complete (were talking about a tiny anklet here, not a custom pendant or chain). Eventually we had a trip to Tennessee (4 DAYS) we had to take so when she got back she picked it up (over a month later, no calls no reminders) when she got to Exodus to pick up the jewelry she was unpleased with the workmanship and no longer wanted the anklet so she just simply wanted her money back for the product on which she did not want any longer....well they just told her no refunds basically to get lost and they had delivered the product to her. Now her not being very business minded she accepted what they said per their "policy" and was very upset. At which time the clerk began to CLOSE UP SHOP for the day (mid day), Im assuming to avoid the issue. I eventually called them myself and tried to reason and rectify the situation even offering a $75 restocking fee for the inconvenience (again we are talking about a $400 piece here ,so almost 25% of the total purchase price for them to take their product back and refund the rest) but to no luck. The person I spoke with wanted $200 (HALF) to get their product back and only refund half the purchase which to me tells me their mark up is insane. If the Jewelry was worth anything even in scrap it should be worth at least half just for a trade in. anyways, I would NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. BEAWARE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES. To do what I can to help stop this from happening to any of you, I will be filing a formal complaint with the Attorney general.
