1 /5 Robert Morley: I tried to open an account with Fidelity. I entered my information and it found I had an old account. I called the 800 number and, in order to verify me, they asked through which employer was the account opened. I didnt know that it was through an employer. They asked me when I began and ended the employment. I did not know that information SO THEY CANNOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT for me. I offered to send my drivers license, passport, social security card to prove my identity. They cant use that information. All they want is to know the duration of employment in a place I worked for 6 months some 30 or 40 years ago.
This is why we need to put an end to traditional finance.
