Daniel Carroll: Another Update: Had another repair that user is very hard on her jewelry! He went out of his way to order a special piece to make the repair rather than do a patch and he did not charge any extra for him going that extra mile. Best summed up in one word... HONEST. Update: Went back for another repair for the same piece because it was mishandled by the wearer not the fault of the repair, Courteous quick and reasonably priced. I had no doubt that there would have been no charge at all but it was not the repair that failed. While I may hope not to need his services soon I would have no hesitation recommending them. The most honest jewelry repair I have ever had! Came in UNDER the estimate and did not charge me the estimated (and very reasonable) price. The storefront is tiny and easy to miss but well worth looking for if you need quick honest repair services. There is what looks like a decent selection for sale but I was there only for a repair.. this time.

Colby Bridges: 10/10 recommended. Everyone at Bri’s was very welcoming I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and they immediately began helping me with removing some links from a watch I recently bought from an online vendor/builder. After a close look some of the adjustment screws were found to be mock and not an actual screw so the pins had to be tapped with a good bit of force to remove the links. They had the job done within 5-10 minutes and it was no normal link removal. I offered to pay double the rate because of the work and they still only charged me a single adjustment. I really appreciate the help! Watch now fits great. If you are looking for custom jewelry, watch repair, or anything jewelry related be sure to check them out!
ALBANY GOLD & JEWELRY EXCHANGE SERVICES - Albany
Mark Kienast: I met John over the past weekend for the first time in respect to some Dental crowns that I had removed. He was very professional in his analysis of what I had and explained everything to me clearly. I was 100% satisfied with the transaction and would be comfortable doing business with him again in regards to any kind of precious metal or jewelry.

The owners are super friendly and were willing to go the extra distance to get us exactly what we wanted. The pricing is very reasonable and he does great work! Overall a very pleasant experience! :)
Brian Michaels Jewelers - Tonawanda Town
Tracy Curtin: This has to be the best jeweler in the WNY area. They do everything and have everything. Their customer service is amazing. They make every customer feel like family. And it doesn’t matter if you’re spending $100 or &10,000 . Angel is amazing but really everyone is there is so special. I don’t know who owns this store but big kudos to you! I hope you treat your team as good as they treat your customers.
Jared Jewelers - Amherst
James Pusateri: I haven’t had much experience with jewelers until recently. I bought my fiancés engagement ring through a custom ring designer and purchased a warranty to cover pretty much anything. When a couple of the prongs on her ring bent, I submitted a claim and the warranty company told me to go to any jeweler for a repair. We walked into Jered Jewelers in consumer square on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst, NY. We were greeted by one of the top three customer service people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting - Neil Gablenz. He greeted us and made us feel right at home, during what was a stressful time - having brought a very important piece of jewelry in to be repaired. He assured us that we were in good hands, and he was absolutely right. We left the ring and were told it would be ready in about a week. Not even five days later, Neil called and told us it was ready to be picked up. We came back to pick up the ring, and met with Neil again. Still charming, still friendly, so it wasn’t just a one off day that we met him and were absolutely pleased with his customer service oriented mentality. He is the real deal. The repair was perfect. We were so happy with it that we decided to pick out our wedding bands right there in the store. Neil spent a good hour with us as we looked over what felt like every ring in the store. We decided on exactly what we wanted and placed our order. These were being made to order so we were told they’d be ready on August 6. We received a call from Neil on August 3 that they were ready (three days early) so we went in to get them. The rings were as beautiful as we’d hoped and Neil was right there with us as we tried them on - and he shared in our excitement. Great job all around from customer service to quality of the jewelry itself. We are fans of Jered and it’s largely due to Neil as the face of your company that we first met, enjoyed seeing again, and look forward to seeing when we come back for future jewelry needs! I know this is supposed to be a review about Jered Jewelers, and I may have made it a bit of a review about Neil, but as long as he works there - the two go hand in hand to me. 100/10 highly recommend! Customers for life.
Hermit Hill Vintage - Saranac Lake
Katie Santner: What a gem of a store! This family-owned antique shop is truly a treasure trove, filled with a wide variety of unique items—from vintage collectibles to absolutely stunning fine and antique jewelry. Every piece seems to have a story, and the entire space feels warm, welcoming, and full of character. Katherine and Chris are incredibly knowledgeable—they’ve been collecting their whole lives, and Katherine’s passion for jewelry really shines through. She and Chris were so kind and helpful when I stopped in to find a special maid of honor gift for my sister. With their guidance, I found the sweetest, most meaningful vintage bracelet that I know she’ll treasure forever. And I cant forget to mention Rosebud, their sweet dog, who was the friendliest greeter! She made the whole experience even more special. You can tell how much heart and hard work has gone into building this store. After everything local businesses have faced since COVID, it feels especially important to support small, family-run stores like this one. Shopping here isnt just about finding something beautiful—its about being part of a community and supporting people who truly care about what they do. Can’t recommend it enough if you’re in the area! I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m visiting ADK!
Brilliant Earth - Brooklyn
Merlin Mathew: I want to shout out SA Vanessa! We had been to Brilliant Earth twice, a few months apart. Vanessa helped us both times and actually remembered us from our first meeting! She went above and beyond to help us figure out what we wanted and really cared about us leaving more informed and confident about the decisions we made. Thanks again Vanessa!
