1 /5 Ashleigh Polo: I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Jarbath Peña Law Group. I hired them on two separate occasions, and both times I was left disappointed and frustrated.
During my first case, the attorney failed to schedule mediation in time, which led to my case being dismissed. On the second occasion, they switched my attorney in the middle of active court proceedings without properly transitioning or informing me. To make matters worse, they canceled a critical hearing just two hours before it was scheduled, forcing me to delay my case by an entire month—something I believe significantly impacted its momentum.
Throughout my time with this firm, I found the attorneys and office staff to be disorganized. Important documents were misplaced or lost, and communication was inconsistent. Most concerning of all, they seemed more interested in billing than actually advocating for me. They charged for every minor interaction—phone calls, emails, and even brief conversations—yet after a hearing that did not go in our favor, no one followed up with me to discuss next steps or offer any support.
It truly felt like I was just another invoice to them, not a valued client. I’m baffled by the number of five-star reviews this firm has received—it doesn’t reflect the experience I had, which felt impersonal, careless, and ultimately, ineffective.
