1 /5 Shea Degan: If I could leave zero stars, I would.
I do not know if Jodat Law Group has good attorneys because I could not even get past the rude receptionist.
I had a 3:00 PM phone appointment with Sam. My notes said he would call me, but when 3:02 PM hit and I had not gotten a call, I started questioning myself. Wanting to be respectful of their time, because if I was the one who was late, I am sure they would have told me to pound sand, I called the office to double-check.
Unfortunately, I got the same rude receptionist I dealt with the week before. She acted like helping me was beneath her.
When I mentioned my wife was also on the call with me for an uncontested divorce, she immediately got short and rude, lecturing me about how Sam could not represent both of us. I told her it was not a problem and that my wife would hang up, but she kept going on about it like I could not grasp what she was saying.
She said Sam would call me once he finished his other call. I waited 45 minutes and still heard nothing. When I manually checked my phone, I found a voicemail from Sam left at 3:02 PM, right when I was calling in. My phone never rang or gave me any missed call notification.
When I called back to explain that he mustve called when I was on the phone with her she said, "There is no way," refused to believe me, and offered no apology or solution, just told me I missed my appointment.
At that point, I told her I would be using another law firm because of how rude and unprofessional she had been. She couldnt have cared less. She said, "Okay, have a nice day," and hung up on me before I could even finish speaking.
If this is the first impression Jodat Law Group wants to leave on people, good luck to them. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere only because of the way this woman treats people.
