Susan Chase: I sold my property 4 months ago and have been trying to get refunded for my unused premium ever since. I sent them my closing statement promptly. After waiting over 2 months, I called my broker since they won’t talk directly to me. Without any notice to my broker they were holding the check to confirm the address the check should be mailed to. After confirming address, I waited another month and called my broker again only to find out they sent the check to an address I haven’t lived at for 3 years. Now I have to wait for check to be canceled and new check to be reissued. Is this company legitimate! Sounds like they are avoiding payout. I have always paid my premium in full and in a timely manner. They should have to pay me interest for holding onto my money for 4 months. They would have definitely charged me a late fee since they have charged all sorts of fees the 6 years I was with them and I have never put in a claim. With this treatment, I am so glad I never did. It would have been a nightmare. I never leave negative reviews but this is unacceptable. Beware.
