My mom and I shared an auto insurance policy, and after her passing, I called the office numerous times before I could reach someone who understood my situation. Eventually, I spoke with a representative who instructed me to email a few documents and assured me that someone would call me back. I complied, but I never received a return call. After a couple of days, I sent a follow-up email with no response.
Then Mary Payne herself called me back to inform me that my insurance had been canceled due to an "employee error." However, she stated that Allstate would not be reissuing my insurance. So, on top of grieving for my mom, I now have to deal with this extremely frustrating situation.
