1 /5 TN T: I met Mr. Ramey by accident briefly while filing out paperwork in the lobby of the Panama City office right after I hired them by phone. Communication was horrible. It took days & days to get messages back from Mr. Ramey. He told me at the time of our very brief accidental meeting this is a civil case & it will be fine. He told me he doesnt like to lose. That was the one & only time I ever saw him face to face. He never called me into the office to go over my evidence or my case. My case started off with a land encroachment by my neighbor. Over 2,000 square feet of land. My neighbor has a survey, I have a survey. Our surveys match as far as our adjoining properties. Property pins are in the ground. I have a copy of my neighbors survey. My neighbor piled stuff up on my fence & placed a 360 security camera on my property. I cut his camera down & moved the things piled on my fence to the other side of my fence on my property. For that I was arrested for petty theft. The police refused to look at my survey. The officers didnt care that the neighbors surveillance camera was on my property it didnt matter. (I have photos & videos of the camera to prove it was in my yard.) So anyway I needed an lawyer. I was scared. I called many lawyers. Musca Law was the first who answered the phone. I truly wish they had not. I feel I had ZERO representation. Im talking ZERO! I feel like Mr. Ramey did nothing for me. I feel like I probably could have gotten the deal I got on my own, probably a better deal as I would have been able to speak to the judge & prosecutor & explain exactly what was going on with my case. I collected a ton of evidence. Mr. Ramey went over nothing with me. I have surveys, videos & photos. None of it mattered as I dont think anyone even bothered to look at any of it. I have a video of my neighbor offering to purchase the land in question right before my criminal case began. My neighbor was told on video he was trespassing & I had no interest in selling my land & to remove his stuff. My Ramey has the video, I turned it in with the rest of my evidence. Mr. Ramey decided I should take some sort of pretrial probation. He told me it was a good deal. I told him I was very unhappy with my "Good Deal" I told him I felt like I should take this to trial. Mr. Ramey told me I would be found guilty in 5 minutes if I took my case to trial. He then told me if thats what I wanted I was to have I believe it was 5,000 dollars into his office by 3:00 pm. As if I would give Musca Law another dime. Mr. Ramey didnt even take care of the restitution Im supposed to pay. He said at the time I took my "Good Deal" I would be responsible for only the camera I broke, A camera that was on my land being used to surveil my family! My neighbor got everything back, even the camera although it was broken. Now Im on my "Good Deal" probation & have to pay my neighbor restitution for things he got back immediately. I have photos of the stuff right after this happened. Its in his possession. I took pics on 2/25/25. its still in his possession. If I dont pay for the things my neighbor got back, Then I will be re arrested & my case will roll back to like it just began. Its been a year since all this began. All the money Ive paid for my "Good Deal" probation will be forfeited. Mr. Ramey also told me we can ask for early termination of my probation after 6 months, its 10 months now. He told me he wouldnt charge me to ask for early termination. I had to remind him of that after he tried to make me pay for that service. Mr. Ramey said hes been trying to work with the prosecutions office to see about my restitution. So far nothing & no early termination. The restitution should have been taken care of in the beginning of my case, not the 25th hour. Im done. Ill stay on my "Good Deal" probation, pay my neighbor for stuff he has back & be done. Do not hire them. Run away! Go with a state appointment attorney or even go it alone. I bet youll be better off, really. You will certainly have more money in your pocket if you take my advice
