It’s like the proof is in the photos and I’m for it! $60 to do a repair and 1 year warranty on what was worked on - hell yea!! Overall, absolutely hands down yes! Highly recommend!

He was patient with us and offered very great prices on the rings. 100% recommend looking here if you want nice, unique jewelry at a fair price. Update: we told Sam that we were moving and I would have to drive back to pick up the rings after the resizing. He made it a priority to get the resizing done quickly and we were able to pick it up the next day! Very kind and accommodating people and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

This wasn’t just any coin, it’s a family heirloom that was sewn into my great-grandmother’s sweater when she escaped Yugoslavia during the war. My grandmother had a bezel made for it, but I always felt that the original bezel took away from the beauty of the coin. When I brought it to Govind & Sons, they were able to use the same gold and recreate a new bezel that not only protected the coin better but also let its beauty truly shine. I was ecstatic. I get compliments all the time, and it means so much to finally wear such a powerful piece of my family’s history. During that visit, I also found out they do fully custom pieces. My mom and I had been searching for over 2 years for the right emerald jewelry to honor my late father, but nothing ever felt quite right. We came back together and worked with them to design custom emerald rings, and we are obsessed. The day I picked up my custom ring, I got two compliments that same afternoon. These pieces are so meaningful, as silly as it sounds Ive cried over them. They carry deep sentimental value and will be passed down for generations. They are amazing to work with and so helpful along the way. Needless to say, I’ll absolutely be turning to Govind & Sons for any future pieces, even after I move. Thank you for helping bring our stories to life in such beautiful ways.

Garrett Bryant: I am in no way a watch snob; I simply wanted maintenance. I dropped off my 50-year-old Seiko 6105 (a $1,500 watch with family history) after seeing the positive reviews for water intrusion repair and maintenance. The shop said they would send it to their trusted watchmaker. After one month, they called for payment, then radio silence for another month. A short text later said it was “almost done,” and after another month, I called only to be told immediately it was ready. When I went to pick it up, the owner claimed everything was fixed. Upon inspection, multiple droplets of water were inside the watch on the dial before I had even left the shop. They promised to fix it, but when I asked to see the old parts, I was told they had been thrown away. Reviewing my own photos, I realized they had also polished the case (due to "damage from the vise jaws"), work I never requested, and ruining the original finish, something no quality watchmaker does. The shop admitted to polishing the case, and that water was still able to get in. This service cost $500 and took three months. My watch was returned in worse condition than when I dropped it off, without the original problem solved. Given the missing parts and ongoing water intrusion, I seriously doubt any meaningful mechanical work was done. Now I have to take it to another shop. The owner issued a full refund and apologized, claiming this “had never happened before.” My experience was a complete waste of time. If you value your watch, avoid this shop entirely; do not trust them.
