1 /5 Nick: In my personal experience, working with RAK Firm has been disappointing. Initially, I was asked to provide a $3,500 retainer, which I was happy to pay, followed a few weeks later by an additional $1,500. At the time, I didnt mind because I believed progress was being made on my case.
However, after several months and a significant financial investment, the firm had yet to receive any kind of response from my landlord or their attorney.
To make matters more complicated, both my original attorney and the paralegal assigned to my case left the firm, which meant starting over with a new attorney who had to get up to speed from scratch. When I finally spoke with the new attorney, I was told that continuing the case would likely require a minimum of $50,000, along with another $5,000 retainer -without any guarantee of success.
At that point, I made the decision not to move forward. I simply couldnt justify continuing to invest in a process where I saw very little traction or meaningful results. I wasnt comfortable spending $50,000 on a "maybe.
***Edit: I just got a very aggressive call from this office that I personally construed as blackmail— demanding that I remove this review, though I’m no longer a client***
