My brother in San Francisco is a lawyer and when I experienced jail for the first time, he immediately researched the best lawyer in my area for me. He insisted I hire her immediately. Having never been in jail or in the court system I did not understand the urgency or even the need to pay an attorney. while I was in jail, one of the inmate said you have to hire an attorney you do not want a public defender. I asked why and she said because I paid attorney will process everything for you very quickly. They can push things through and make sure all the teas are crossed and the eyes are dotted so thatnot only do you get dismissed, but its quick. She said public defenders have huge caseloads and cannot give your case the time it needs. She said you end up waiting for months instead of weeks to process. im so glad my brother referred me to Jamie. She was immediately in contact with me, always responded to every text, was understanding, and she knew the system inside and out. She was able to get things done super fast, which was important because I could not go back to work until the case had been dismissed. My work only gave me four weeks to get the case dismissed. My court date was set for two months later. Jamie was able to get the entire case dismissed in under four weeks! She did little extra tricks to speed it up, like getting me to sign things in advance on Docusign and not wait for appointments to sign which would have extended the process out for more weeks. Thank God for Jamie Waho Spivey! I have my job back and she is getting the case expunged from my record so it will never show up again. She made the process easy and explained everything. More importantly, she made it fast so I could return to work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!♥️

The Chauncey Law Firm, P.A. | Attorney At Law - Live Oak William Decker: Had a great initial phone call with them. However, when I wanted to schedule an in-person appointment, call was never returned. First call was just before Thanksgiving and second call was this past Tuesday morning. Heard great results about them though.
***UPDATE (4/9/25): communication is extremely important. If the communication cannot happen in the beginning, then it’s not going to work throughout the process.
