5 /5 Gregg Powell: We had never heard of United Community until we moved to FL and our mortgage was transferred to this bank. We went into the local branch (Tavares, FL) to ask questions about how to pay the bill since we were new to the website and things were not how I expected them to be. While we were there, we spoke with Grace and Cierra. They were warm, welcoming, funny, and most importantly "human", not stiff and all business like. That quality, I greatly appreciate. They answered all of our questions and we also started talking about new bank accounts. We have just recently moved to FL from NH and wanted to have local access to our money. After a day or two, we decided to open 8 new accounts with them. When we went into the branch, Cierra and Hannia helped us to open them. They had all the paperwork ready for us (they had both of our profiles in their system to do so) and ready to go. It took about 50 minutes to get everything signed, set up, and to activate our 6 or 7 cards. We didnt leave the branch until 5:10pm, 10 minutes after they were supposed to have closed. That is another thing that I greatly appreciate and I think others would have as well. The next day, I realized I made a big mistake (I never make those!! Yeh, right! LOL Not usually a mistake like this though). I spoke with our bank up north and also with Cierra and Hannia and they were able to make it all work out. We are only a few days into our relationship with them but I have a good idea that it will be a great decision in the long run! I ran a small community bank back in NH so I know a lot about the intricacies of banking and what can/cannot be done usually (obviously some things being bank specific) and I get the same personalized banking feeling here that I made sure our customers received at my bank. Thank you Grace, Hannia, and Cierra!
