Karim Chadwick I moved to Sumter County from South Florida a few months ago and had been without a home church since 2023. As part of a ministry that travels across the U.S. hosting baptism revivals, I needed a church to call home when I wasn’t on the road. In late December 2024, I searched for churches near me, and the name of this church immediately caught my attention. (I had visited a few others previously.) My first visit was the last Sunday of the year, and since then, I’ve attended every Sunday service as well as the Thursday night Bible studies. I’m very cautious when it comes to church groups. Diane Green I love our church. It is the absolute best. The people are friendly and loving . My husband and I first went there when visiting his family. Than we moved to Bushnell and started getting involved. We didnt even look any where else. We knew that Cross Connection was home. I am currently in North Carolina helping my daughter with the new baby. I go to church with them. They are at a good church but I do miss Cross Connection. I miss the worship and being a part of what is happening there. We have the very Best worship team! Love you Cross Connection and miss you much ! Susan League The most amazing church you will ever find. No dress code and no perfect people allowed! You’ll be welcomed into the family. Our youth and children are our future and have wonderful programs. 8 am traditional service, 9 am several Bible study classes and 10:15 contemporary service. We’re out by 11:30 and beat all the other churches to the restaurants! Come visit what a real true church is supposed to be.

Indira Noro Saint Lawrence Catholic Church is a beautiful little church in the small town of Bushnell, Florida. Our van broke down just outside of Bushnell and we had to spend some time there while we waited for a part for our van so I was able to attend a Tuesday morning Mass there. Pastor Father Waldemar Maciag gave a good homily. As my son has a calling to the priesthood I will certainly tell him to make sure to welcome visitors to any church he might serve at. Matthew 25: 31-40. “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.”

Howard Graham We went to this church for several years after moving to Bushnell. The priest there couldnt wait to leave once service was over. Someone mentioned trying to get more people to come to our services. After that we got a lecture on not needing more people but for members of this church to give more or as the priest worded it "pay your bills". There are some very good people at this church. Its too bad they dont have a priest that will give them his or her more of their time.

The focus seemed to be more on tradition than on fostering a meaningful relationship with the congregation. I left feeling more disconnected than inspired.

J VM First visit, a man told us he wished we would go to another church, because they didnt want our kind there. No one spoke to us or said hello when we entered or left. Message was good, song service great. PS. We are a grey and blonde older couple visiting from out of state. The Lord was thrilled to see us!
