We love to do missions in local community, international, we also during holidays give families in need food. We are not a big church but we do have a big heart, we are more like family then just members at church.

JUDITH MCGHEE McLeod is definitely a small church with a big heart. Although I am now unable to attend in person, they stream through FaceBook which makes it possible for me to attend services. McLeod gives back first to their community on a regular basis and has for many years with necessities for high school students, food baskets for holidays, gifts for area children at Christmas, local, interstate and foreign mission projects; a lot of giving for a small church! The members are friendly and welcoming to all who enter. You will be warmly welcomed there! If you are looking for a church that truly practices what they preach, try McLeod.

M. Ford This congregation is focused on missions, and gives to charities on several levels much greater than youd expect from a small group. McLeod has a wonderful heritage in Bartow, and is comforting to those who appreciate traditional music and a family atmosphere. Dont expect politics here. Do expect good food and meaniingful gospel.

American Woman I visited this little church last week after passing by it many times. I always noticed the small sign along the road that gently implored Love One Another - it never failed to catch my eye. I went again today and once again was moved by the message. Let me make this clear: if you’re looking for a church where they sing hymns and where the Word of God is preached, this is the place for you. This is no mega-church, there is no band, no multiple services, no entertainment. But you will be fed the Word by a pastor who clearly loves the Lord. Come as you are. What a jewel this place is. Praise the Lord.

He is always on FIRE AND CONSISTENT, from week to week his zeal and passion to be about His Fathers business is evident. One of the most genuine, authentic caring pastors Ive met in 13 years as a believer. What I love most about this Pastor is that as caring and compassionate as he is, he is not afraid to step on peoples toes in respect to the scripture and keeping others accountable to actually DO WHAT THE WORD SAYS. He is not a pastor who preaches to tickling ears, itching to hear what makes them feel good. A great, well balanced preacher who desires to see all come to the Truth, be saved and live a life that reflects and glorifies God. In addition, the church gives back to the community. Every year they sell Christmas trees and give all the proceeds back to providing Christmas gifts for the local community who may not otherwise been able to provide. The worship is amazing, Holy Spirit led for sure. God has really placed an anointing on many areas of this church but there is little doubt the worship is anointed. It really gives a chance to worship and praise God before being washed and ready to receive Gods Word. A family oriented, church body atmosphere which has obviously been cultivated and is in practice at its best. If youre looking for whats important: Accurate theological interpretation of Gods Word, A pastor who is a true shepherd and gives his time and attention to the people in the church in a way that is authentic, kind, compassionate and reflects the character of Christ. Very well rounded church and a great example of how Jesus desired to see the church body operate according to the Words in the scripture. If you havent been to Ascent, I highly recommend it!!

Every week the pastor preaches the truth, chapter by chapter and word for word out of the Bible. Childrens and adult Sunday school class before the service.

Pastor speaks the truth from the Bible. The members are so welcoming. They have Sunday School/Life Groups at 9:15 and service at 10:30. Also if you have kids and or teenagers their kids programs on Wednesday nights 6:00 are really awesome!!

I go Saturday night so I visit other churches in the area and Ive been to about 35 now First Baptist was one of the rare churches that teach the word well and the purpose to go to church the Bible says is to provoke each other to love and good works, teach the word or Apostles Doctrine in season and out, Breaking of bread or communion, fellowship and prayers. Acts 2:41-42. This is a church I could go back to if you want to be taught the truth from the word of God I highly recommend you visit and decide for yourself.

Mlke Doughty This is a true Bible Based Church !! We have a great Life Group for all ages. (Sunday School) Children are always welcome, we have a Life Group just for them . We also have people to watch your kids during the service. Pastor Orman and his wife Kim are a Blessing to the Church. Pastor Orman is a true Fisher of men as well as a great fisherman. The Church is having Vacation Bible School starting on July 22---26, 2019 9 AM till 12 PM ... It will be a great time for anyone who joins in...
