Im Grateful We found this Church after a power-hungry bishop destroyed our Anglican Church that had been the focus or our religious life for 20 years. It made us realize that it has been bishops who have caused problems in all churches over the centuries. This Church provides us with the beautiful Anglican liturgy without the need to pay homage to unscrupulous and arrogant bishops. Most importantly, the clergy are caring, intelligent priests who provide incredible sermons every Sunday. What an incredible blessing Christ Church has been!

Lahua Mahoney I was led to visit this church. My church is in transition right now. There is no stress or dress code at this church. The members are very friendly and consider you as part of the church family right away. The pastor, Jonathan, is out to save souls and preaches a message thats meaningful. The worship music and singers are awesome. I love worshipping out loud and giving God all the praise and glory.

d jackson I researched churches in Tallahassee for over a year, and tried several around town. This church is down to earth and has the best diversity I found (racial, age, economic, etc.) The whole church made me feel extremely welcome but not in a "stalker" way that some can. The pastor, his family, worship team and all staff/volunteers are professional, talented, creative, friendly, sincere, open and welcoming. The pastor, by his repeated words to the congregation and leadership, makes it known that all are welcome, including all styles of worship. Another important favorite, the food is plentiful and really good!! :)

Catava Hill I called this place in need of some holy water. The young man that answered the phone was very pleasant and tried to assist me. I was told I could get the holy water and I asked could I get 3 bottles because I was unsure how big the bottles were. A woman then proceeds to tell him to ask me what I needed with it. She then took the phone from him and asked me herself. She asked could I not get it from my church. I’m not Catholic. She said the priest would need to know what I needed it for. I told her for spiritual purposes! She said she would let the priest know so she could see if he was “ok” with me coming to get some. I’m not aware of anything negative that you can do with holy water. It wasn’t her business what I needed it for. Obviously the only use I know of is for anointing and cleansing so what other answer was she expecting?! I was told the priest was in a meeting and would call me back. Well it’s been about 4 hours, & oh yeah, they won’t answer the phone now. Such a devil! Nothing God like about whoever she is! I found two other churches that had absolutely NO problem letting me get holy water. So sad! Good Shepherd allowed me to come in with my own container and get holy water with no problem. When I first stopped by, a funeral was starting so there was no holy water out, but a very nice man told me to get my own container and try back. I did and someone was there and showed me where it was. This church needs people in the sanctuary like the ones that helped me at Good Shepherd & the other church I found. Whoever she is needs to be ashamed!

Trevor Rios I have gone to church here a couple of times while visiting my daughter at FSU. I like the music they do and the nice and traditional service that they provide. We normally go to the Sunday evening mass that is geared more toward the college crowd but even with that they keep it real and dont try to jazz it up too much. The music is contemporary but not out of control. The service is what you would expect at a Catholic church. The church architecture is nice as well. Old looking with traditional cathedral styling and somewhat unique strained glass window method for many of the windows.

Jeremy Shaw I like the come as you are feeling and the teaching of the Bible. There are a couple pastors so perspectives are varied, not with Jesus, just with the way the lessons are taught. More history revelancy, why did this matter then and how and why does it matter now. Perspectives as a parent relative for the family. Single life as freedom and responsibilities mesh. I have been to several churches around town. I like the opportunities available to serve while getting to know the other folks that show up most Sundays too.

There are 4 generations of folks who attend here, and even though weve only been attending for 2 years, it feels like family. All incomes, all ages, all types of professions, but commonly bound together to follow Jesus. This is definitely not a church where you attend a performance as an audience. Briggs K Every message comes straight from the Bible. The pastor and his family are delightful. The small group I attend before service on Sunday mornings has been something I look forward to. There is a lot of emphasis on the kids/youth ministries as well.

Justine Dale This is "my" church....rarely miss going on Sunday. We have a new pastor who is very real and kind, and cares that his "flock" gets the truth of Christ. His sermons leave you wanting to draw closer to the person of Jesus who gives us the opportunity to really live. The former pastor is still on staff performing a vital outreach to the ill and shut-in and preaches about once a month. (Love his Heart) Come visit us soon....we would welcome all!

Al Wolfkill On 11/9, the congregation hosted the Tallahassee chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. 25 bunk beds were made for kids that have no bed. Great community outreach!
