5 /5 Chad Millner: Unique downtown spot with an upscale feel. Beautiful and tasteful restoration of the building with much attention to detail, blending the original character with a modern feel. Friendly, welcoming, and attentive service as well as great menu options (even for a non-wine drinker). I had the delicious 1901 burger, which was also presented well. Couldnt resist ordering the chocolate 5 layer cake, which didnt disappoint. Great location for a business lunch or evening get together with friends or family. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Local Everyday: This is a small town, here at Chipley. 1901 On Main was such a delightful surprise for me. The decor is so tasteful and rustic at the same time. We had a delightful server. One of us drank beer from their very respectable tap selection. The other (me) had the wine flight. That was well priced. The wines I chose (two from the sweet and 2 from the drier side) were so good! Really, good wine. Of the four I sampled I I would buy more. As we have limited travel space I chose the Pinot Grigio but the Mystic, the Chipley, and the Cabernet Sauvignon were all worthy. We plan to return to Chipley and 1901 On Main will be a particular reason we would return.

4 /5 Diane -: For such a small town, its a gem. The atmosphere was really beautiful and elevated the area. The servers/bartenders are very nice and explained a lot about the wines and wine cocktails. They serve beer, wine (and wine cocktails) and a canned rum fruit punch that was to die for. The wine was surprisingly good, though the wine selection mostly leans on the Moscato / sweet side. I recommend the wine flight, so you can try more of them. We had the Roasted Grape Crostini , Pulled Pork Sliders, and Chicken and Waffles. The first two were very good! The chicken and waffles . . . while the waffles, delicious whipped cream, and syrup were very good, the chicken seemed like it came from a frozen bag. That was the only thing I was not happy with. Overall, 4/5.

2 /5 Catie Campbell: Saturday night-Steak night. I love the atmosphere and the staff were friendly. They were very understaffed and unprepared for this night. I get it, we all have bad nights. It took forever to get served drinks, to get the food, and we werent checked on during our meal. They ran out of potatoes and the kitchen didnt inform the foh staff. Thats fine, its how the owner reacted when I expressed a little disappointment. No sorries just ego. My poor server was overwhelmed while her bosses stood behind the bar not doing anything to help the dining room during this very busy Saturday night. We had reservations by the way! Anyways, the medium rare steak was really good, they served me frozen crinkle fries and a bare salad. The fried green tomatoes were sub par.

5 /5 Lew Moore: Great meal at 1901. We ordered carry out but the atmosphere was nice and quiet inside and the waitresses were very nice. The food was great. I loved the chicken/pork belly flat bread. Others loved the waffles and chicken and the chicken pesto flat bread. Highly recommend!!
