5 /5 Matt “GenXBiker”: This landmark of North Central Florida is a must-visit restaurant. It is very small, so dont go during crowded times. The entire restaurant is on a train car. There is limited parking and seating available, so you may need to wait. Prices are low and the food is authentic. We ordered milkshakes because we saw the old milkshake machines, where they are actually hand-turned. They have the best burgers in Palatka, but I go for breakfast. The interior is crammed, so dont be offended. The bench seating needs to be replaced, and it hurts your butt. I didnt get to see the bathrooms, but they make a genuine effort to ensure everything is clean. It is a unique experience, bring the kids while places like this still exist.
