5 /5 Dr. Aleta V Ashford: We stopped through for a hot meal while passing through the area. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. The staff was friendly and extremely welcoming. Our experience felt like we were eating at someones kitchen table.

5 /5 James Rodriguez: Hands down the best fried breaded okra. The fish was delicious and was perfectly cooked. The collard greens were seasoned to perfection. I felt like I went to a family reunion where everyone brought their best to the table. Thank you for this delicious food and amazing atmosphere.

5 /5 Blaine Davis: I grew up poor in Texas. That being said, food was a necessity not a luxury. This place, my goodness, was spot on with the serving size and flavor of their dishes. The staff, Gerald in the front and D doing the magic in the kitchen both showed me that they enjoy what they provide. To me, nothing prompts nostalgia like the food you grew up on. Everything was completely on point! Loved the place and it is definitely going to be a weekly stop for me and my woman. Amazing food at an amazing price!

5 /5 Lisa Moore: Walked into the restaurant and was greeted by the owner. Fun and friendly. Food was amazing. Tried the Big Daddy’s Fried Chicken. Promise you will not be disappointed. Good seasoning and fried to perfection. Juicy but not greasy. We will be back next time we are in Ocala.
