5 /5 Tarica Mayo: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dylan is an outstanding bartender! She made amazing drinks, was quick and attentive, and brought such a positive energy to the bar. She gave great recommendations and made everyone feel welcome. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customer experience. One of the best bartenders I’ve come across — highly recommend asking for Dylan if you’re here!

1 /5 Angely Campos: By far the WORST mexican restaurant in Gainesville. The food was very very bland, got the birria tacos and all I could taste was burnt meat. Got a side of rice and beans for my kids and the rice was overcooked and mushy but still managed to have some uncooked grains. Basically unedible and flavorless. I truly cannot comprehend how that was allowed out of the kitchen. The beans had more onions and broth than beans and the tub was filled less than half way. Which for the price that is absolutely outrageous. Also got the “chicken fajitas” and I’m pretty sure they gave me pulled pork instead and the veggies were completely raw.

5 /5 bek day: Honestly, I have never encountered such incredible customer service from a restaurant before. They went so above and beyond today, it brought me to tears of gratitude....extra special shout out to Matt! Oh yes, and the food is delicious too. My main order was the sopa de pollo - its flavorful, savory in all the right ways, and really hit the spot. 20/10. Thank you Cantina Añejo family...you really saved the day.

But what truly made the night exceptional was our server, Ashton. Ashton was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. They had great menu recommendations and even took the time to check on us regularly, ensuring our drinks were never empty and that we were enjoying our meal. It’s rare to find service this outstanding! If you’re looking for a great spot with incredible food and top-notch service, Cantina Añejo is the place to go—be sure to ask for Ashton!
