3 /5 Onna: The food was just okay. The meat in both tacos were bland, as well as the chimichurri. The refried beans were decent enough, but couldve also been seasoned more. I also tried their horchata, but it was way too sweet! The only things I enjoyed that night was the chips and guac. Theres too many great Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville, and a few in Yulee to settle for this place.

2 /5 Robbie BuysStuff: The waitress was annoyed by my asking of her favorite protein at the restaurant. In response, I ordered two, both the chicken and the beef. The chicken was terrible. It tasted like canned unseasoned chicken. The beef was seasoned decently, but texture was off. If I went back, I’d get the beef. But I’m probably never going back. +1 for outdoor ambiance at least. Beautiful outdoor seating. Overall: Mid food, mid service, good ambiance

3 /5 Yolanda Holley: The hostess was friendly. She was actually the best part of my visit. I knew I shouldve gone with my first mind and found some place else to eat when there were barely any cars in the parking lot. I eat a lot of Mexican food in a lot of different places. The food was disappointing. The pictures online made the food look way better than it was. I ate a few forks of beans, rice and street corn before deciding that I wasnt going to try to eat anymore. I wouldnt go back nor would I recommend.

3 /5 Jennifer Bowen: Service was ok, kept trying to upsell...are you sure thats what you want? Tacos were super greasy, like drip down your hand and arm greasy. My Aunt couldnt eat her corn tortilla shell tacos , they were fried and saturated. Queso was good though. Last time I was there this place was delicious, so maybe new cooks?

3 /5 Lilleira Duncan: I had high expectations after hearing so many positive things about this restaurant chain, but my visit was unfortunately disappointing. The good: the chips and salsa were excellent, the marsh view was beautiful, and our waiter delivered outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and professional. The bad: the food did not live up to the reputation. The Tamarindo drink was extremely diluted — more like sweetened brown water than a real tamarind beverage. My husband and I tried both types of enchiladas (green and red), and neither impressed. The refried beans had an off, almost seafood-like flavor, and the enchiladas were simply rolled tortillas with sauce on top — not fried, baked, or broiled as true enchiladas should be (have several Mexican friends) It’s disappointing, because the place itself has a great atmosphere and could be perfect for gatherings, such as our upcoming Bday celebration; but the food quality doesn’t match the setting or service. Maybe it was an off day, but I wouldn’t return unless I get invited without another choice.
