3 /5 Mellissa Dzion: I have to say that this is probably one of the most awkard stops at DQ that my husband and I have ever had.
While traveling, my husband likes to stop at just about any DQ he can find. This trip was no different. This time, I got excited thinking I could FINALLY get the butterscotch cone that I cant seem to find in FL any longer.
We walk in to find a 7-8 person line waiting to be given their order and another person waiting to have their order taken. About 10 minutes pass and weve STILL not been waited on. Instead of fulfilling orders, the DQ employee chooses to converse with the adjoining Subway employee while all these customers wait!
Come to find out the ice cream then runs out and while the Subway person has NO CUSTOMERS he chooses to stand around and talk instead of help his co-worker out, if even to go get a new bag of ice cream mix............
15-20 ish minutes pass and we finally get to the counter to place our order. I ask about the butterscotch dip for the ice cream cones. I was told "its not on the menu and we dont have it."
Customer service is definitely lacking in this location as is a desire to provide quality & timely service. We will NOT be returning to this location! Quality customer service requires more than a warm body!
