2 /5 Lex L: I tried to order pick up but the lady working didn’t speak a lick of English. So that was already a downfall. My daughter is half Mexican and we were raised in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood and have visited Texas and Mexico every summer as well. I also cook Mexican food very well. I was having high hopes and almost ordered catering from here. First of all 10.90 for 1 taco is outrageous, the meat inside didn’t taste anything like Birria , it was good but NOT Birria, the sauce which is supped to be a caldo of the Birria tastes like straight up water , no spice no nothing. The burrito was the same the meat was good but not Birria good , however the rice tasted like the yellow bags of rice you buy from the store , the beans no flavor whatsoever, was pretty dry other than the meat. Not authentic. Again The sauce tasted like water oil and cilantro and onions.
All in all I was disappointed. The serving size was a pretty good portion, I’ll give you that, but the flavor LACKED.
Just my honest opinion.
Hire someone who speak English and cook the Birria correctly , should be authentic if that’s what your marketing.
