5 /5 James Tracy: A friend and I had an outstanding experience at Ember and Oak in Melbourne Florida during our visit to Cocoa Beach. The ambiance and overall dining experience were refined, sophisticated, and truly top-tier. Having spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry—working in leadership roles around the world—I tend to notice the details, and Ember and Oak impressed me on many levels. Coming from Las Vegas, I’m particularly selective about where I dine, and it’s the small details that separate great restaurants from the rest. Ember and Oak absolutely delivers on that front. Our server, Kate, was exceptional. It was our first visit, so we had several questions, and she knew the menu inside and out. Her service was attentive without being intrusive, and she consistently anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Having worked alongside some truly career-level servers and bartenders in my past, I can confidently say Kate ranks among the very best I’ve encountered. The food was prepared beautifully. We shared the KC strip, which came out slightly rarer than expected—but that was entirely on us, not the kitchen. The presentation, quality, and flavor were spot-on. The Brussels sprouts and shiitake mushrooms were outstanding, with generous portions and incredible flavor. Thank you, Kate, for making our evening memorable. I will absolutely recommend you and Ember and Oak to my friends and colleagues whenever they’re in Florida. — Jim

5 /5 Lori Kocher: This is by far one of our favorite eating places in downtown Melbourne. From the tasteful decor, to the impeccable sevice, to the flavorful food. It never disappoints. Our waiter Iman was superb and very knowledgable and great with recommendations. We cannot wait until the next dinner here.

5 /5 Tiva Leser: Service was on point. Bria was great and had great suggestions. The decide and atmosphere was cool and I liked the lighting. The food was delicious from the caviar to the oysters to the pork chop and ribeye and side boards full of yummy sides. The cocktails were made well and yummy. It’s worth the price of the food. We will be back.

5 /5 Ashley Womble: A friend and I visited for dinner on Saturday. I checked in at 6:25 PM and was seated promptly at my 6:30 reservation. While waiting for my friend, our server, Iman, greeted me and recommended several mocktails. Once my friend arrived, he continued to check in until we were ready to order. We both chose the steak frites, and she added a side of mac & cheese. We started with the Mangrove mocktail—delicious—and the pull-apart, freshly baked bread, which was incredible. When our entrées arrived, my steak was cooked perfectly, tender and buttery under the chimichurri. I also had plenty of fries, which pleasantly surprised me after seeing some reviews mention smaller portions. Iman remained attentive the entire evening—kind, patient, and never rushed us as we enjoyed our time together. He even offered us a complimentary dessert, and we chose the Biscoff cheesecake, which was absolutely to die for. Even after we paid and realized we had stayed past closing, Iman and the staff were gracious and wished us well as we wrapped up. If you’re looking for a classy vibe and an elevated dining experience in Melbourne, I highly recommend Amber & Oak for date night, girls’ night, or any night out. Special thanks to Iman for exceptional service—I would return just based on this experience alone.

5 /5 Vincent Fiorella: My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ember & Oak! We stopped in for dinner before the Ryan Bingham concert, and we were a little concerned about making it to the show on time. Our server Iman was incredible—we let them know our time constraints, and they made sure our entire meal was perfectly paced so we could get out on time without ever feeling rushed. Now, the food... wow. We went all-in on the steak board with the 50 oz Black Diamond dry-aged porterhouse, and it was stellar. The best part? My wife and I prefer our steaks cooked to different temperatures, and the kitchen graciously accommodated us by cooking the porterhouse to two different temps on the same board. It was cooked to perfection for both of us! To top it all off, the cocktails made by Gabe were delicious. The brown butter old fashioned was unique and incredibly smooth, and the dirty martini was mixed just right. We also shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet finish to an amazing meal. Ember & Oak completely exceeded our expectations with both its outstanding food and top-notch service. It was the perfect start to our night out. We will absolutely be back!
