5 /5 Fiona Lane: An old-style sweet shop with a warm, nostalgic feel, creating some of the most delightful treats, snacks, and meals you can imagine. From sandwiches to pies, cookies, festive treats, and so much more, everything carries a clear sense of care and tradition. The moment you step inside, a long glass case stretches out in front of you, starting with stunningly decorated cakes and leading you toward rows of pastries and a full menu. It’s nearly impossible to walk out without a full package in hand.
I tried a warm pressed sandwich with soft cheese and cherry filling — rich, melty, and comforting. The almond cookie had a soft, crumbly texture with whole nuts adding a lovely crunch. The cinnamon roll was soft and packed with sweet flavor. The apple fritter leaned a little too sugary for my taste, and I wished for more apple in it, yet it still felt freshly made and pleasant overall.
You can relax on the outdoor patio to enjoy your food, and parking is plentiful, making the entire visit smooth and convenient. A wonderful stop for anyone who loves classic treats made with heart.
