Half Cracked Tiki Shack - Punta Gorda (FL)

3 /5 Andie Molnar: Except for the service, food, and drink..it was lovely. We waited at least 15 minutes outside for service. Our server was apologetic and nice. The place was NOT crowded at all. Our food was not good. We got stringy rubbery calamari, over cooked coconut shrimp appetize, and a watery $32 blue carribean coctail. The day was beautiful. I will try them again as we live close by.

4 /5 Al Leggett: The half cracked tiki shack is part of sunsetters resort. Within the resort there are lots of options to eat and we chose this one for the fish. I ordered the fish and chips. Two large deep fried fillets and fries with coleslaw. The fish were cooked well, fries were a little overdone but there were so many I probably only ate the largest ones. The coleslaw was quite bland to my taste. Most others at our table ordered Grouper and were delighted with their choice and my wife loved the coleslaw. They have live music, a two man band, playing inside but we ate outside to enjoy the Gulf and the sunset.

5 /5 Rosanna Cariello: 10/10 What a delightful place! The restaurant has a spectacular view. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The strawberry daiquiri cocktail is yummy!

5 /5 Duane Nishimoto: Seafood restaurant attached to the Sunseeker Resort that does a great job of preparing and presenting their dishes. However, it did take quite a while for our meal to be cooked and delivered. All the hot dishes seemed hot enough so it wasn’t as if they had been sitting a long time to be served, which led to the impression the chefs/cooks were slow. The server was great, but 4 stars for slow kitchen. We had crab claws, calamari fries, salmon and crab cake. Everything was tasty with nice tasting sauces to go along with everything! The only thing we did not care for was the slaw under the crab cake. We went for a second lunch before leaving Sunseeker. The service was much better. We had calamari fries, clam chowder, shrimp cocktail and split the grouper entree except for the clam chowder, the food was excellent again! Unexpectedly, there were 8 shrimp on the cocktail!
