2 /5 Ellie Mitchell: I was happy to hear that MMB was open for lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving as someone who does not have family nearby to celebrate the holidays with. My husband and I popped in for lunch and was given a selective menu with just a few items to choose from. I really wanted some bangers and mash but thankful for any real food, I was was happy to try something else. I ordered the Rib Sandwhich which came out with onions and mushrooms on top (not mentioned on the menu I was given), and the meat was 60 percent just pure fatty pieces (not a fan of fatty chunks or onions and mushrooms). I couldnt eat it; thankfully my husband offered to switch meals. So, I instead got the chicken tenders meal, which seemed supremely overpriced for what looked and tasted like some Costco frozen chicken nuggets, reheated. Definitely something I could have just made at home. $50 for a meal for two later - I feel a little hussled. I loved MMB when it was smaller and in downtown Mt Dora. This is my first time at the new location and although I appreciate the cute new bar they built, I really miss the good quality UK food I was given in downtown Mt Dora. Thank you for being open on Thanksgiving and accepting people who didnt have a reservation for the Cuttery(?) experience. But the server made me feel so unwelcomed, and on top of it the food was not worth what I paid for it. It was not enjoyable. Im not sure when Ill come back.

1 /5 Harold Koppe: Total dissappointment. Prime rib on the sandwich was very, very thin and overcooked. Mostly fat and gristle. The sandwich was more grilled onions and mushrooms than prime rib. I removed most of it. The fries were fine. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake turned out to be just a piece of cake with raspberry sauce drizzled across it. Definitely not worth the $31.00 plus the tea charge. Live and learn.

5 /5 Scott James: My wife and I found this on YouTube. We stopped in for a late lunch and split an order of Fish&Chips. This restaurant is a must , 5 stars really doesn’t represent the quality. The atmosphere is so comfortable and the service was over the top. I personally feel the rest of the menu will be top notch. We are not dessert people that we had the sticky bun cake and it was completely the best I’ve ever had. The is a must eatery when visiting Eustis / Dora Florida.

5 /5 Lahey Bethanny (Fig House): Came for weekend breakfast. There was plenty of seating inside and out. Be forewarned, though, the outdoor seating is smoking friendly. Staff was incredibly friendly and very responsive. Food came out annoyingly hot, not that that’s really an issue. Everything was well cooked and well seasoned. Excellent portion size, will definitely have to come back for the dinner menu. Went with the “full Monty” for breakfast basically a little bit of everything that is British. Not just wheelchair friendly, more wheelchair encouraged. Everything is flat, large aisles, areas where you can move tables to accommodate different size parties. There are one or two doors that might be a little difficult to get through, but there are multiple alternate entrances they also havedaily/weekly events that they post month by month. Check their calendar for latest updates. Waitress did mention that they are open on holidays, though they have not yet posted the special holiday menus at the time of rating. Thanksgiving and Christmas reservations basically required, and you could accommodate a party of 30 in there no problem.
