1 /5 Jose F Peralez III: I went to the back to put my order in which was the chicken parmigiana with penne. After 20 minutes I got my food in a to-go container when I asked to dine in. The man taking my order assumed that it was to-go since my friend group ordered theirs to-go.
My name got called first so I got my order that was wrapped up and sat down. They then called another friend of mine with their order and I went to go get it for them. When I got to the counter, they looked at me and said, “oh, we need your order back, we put something wrong in there.” So I gave it to them and got it back. My friends left and I stayed with another friend of mine to eat. We unpacked our food and my pasta was wrong, I was given spaghetti - that was burned. The chicken was overcooked.
On top of all of that, the person that took our order came to us and said, “we can’t have you guys eating out of to-go boxes inside the diner.” He asked for EVERYTHING back after we already had began eating. He plated it on regular plates and came back with “it’s all about presentation.” If it’s all about presentation, then don’t cook food terribly and don’t assume that it’s to go.
I have pictures to show the burned spaghetti and how much food we left because it was just inedible.
