5 /5 Howard Blitz: We visited Motek in Boca Raton with a party of six and overall had a great dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the food really stands out — beautifully presented, flavorful, and consistent across the board. The pita bread deserves a special mention: soft, fresh, and delicious. Just note that extra orders do come with a charge, which is understandable. We did run into one issue at the beginning with the reservation. I had booked it a couple of days in advance, but the hostess couldn’t locate it at first, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. She asked to take my phone and look through it to find the confirmation, which wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Eventually, she figured it out, but the check-in process definitely could’ve been handled better. Our server was attentive and friendly overall, though a bit pushy when it came to re-ordering drinks — once is enough. Other than those small hiccups, the service, food, and atmosphere were excellent. I’m still giving Motek five stars because the dining experience itself was worth it. I just hope they fine-tune the reservation check-in process for future guests. Also beware they do have a service charge on the check added to all of them not an issue because they let us know like all restaurants should

3 /5 Tom Adamczyk: Lets start with the reservations process. I called the number and was greeted by AI (not really a problem) and when I asked for reservations for 5 people, I was sent a link to do so. It turns out there were no tables available for the day we wanted. I called the AI assistant again and asked to speak to a person, was transferred to voice mail, and no one called me back. We decided to take a chance and just do a walk in at the time we wanted reservations and we got right in, the indoor and outdoor dinning areas were nearly empty. We asked if we could sit outdoor, and we told no. Still we were excited as it was my wifes birthday and she wanted to try Motek. The food was good, but the portions were small. The pita bread and mushroom hummus was great, but when we asked for another pita, it took the waiter more than 10 minutes to bring it, mainly because he was chatting and playing with his phone with another guest at another table for 5 minutes. When it was time for the main course, my son received his meal prior to the delivery of the second pita, and the rest of out meals came at about 3-4 minute intervals. Mine came about 12-13 minutes after my son received his. I asked the waiter why such discrepancy in the time and he told me that this is how its done in this particular restaurant. Orders are put in and food get delivered when its cooked. Little odd if you ask me. The final observation I want to make is water. We are water drinking family, and it seems like our table was the only one that didnt get a bottle of water and none of the wait staff even asked us once if we needed a refill of water, even though out glasses were empty. As others have mentioned, the waiter however over my shoulder while paying the bill, so I wasnt able to leave feedback right there and then. In summary: food tasted well, portions were small comparing to other places in this class, service was substandard.

5 /5 Rebecca Weinstein: We had a fabulous time at Motek! Megan was our waitress and she was kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful in navigating the menu. The hummus and especially the pita bread were unreal. The hanger steak was flavorful and tender. And we especially loved the fried eggplant! 10/10 recommend for your next night out.

5 /5 LENNY PEIFFER: Excellent!!!! Service was excellent, waitress had a great personality, food was outstanding, setting on their patio was beautiful, the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. I dont know if it is authentic Mediterranean or not but it didnt matter because the food was some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Ill be going back again A LOT!!!

5 /5 Connor Dreichler: Motek in Boca Raton was outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere all exceeded expectations. Service was incredibly fast, friendly, and knowledgeable—everything came out quickly without ever feeling rushed. The decor is warm and modern, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We ordered the crispy schnitzel sandwich, hummus, Moroccan cigars, pita, crispy cauliflower, and the rack of lamb. While the lamb was a bit tough, everything else was excellent. The crispy cauliflower was our favorite—perfectly cooked, crispy, and packed with flavor. Easily our favorite dish of the meal. This is a spot I would highly recommend, and it’s easy to see why they weren’t taking walk-ins. We’ll absolutely be back.
