1 /5 Tardieu: My wife and I went to On the Edge for lunch, and it was a disappointment from the moment we walked in. No greeting, and when someone finally acknowledged us, it wasn’t friendly. Our waitress never introduced herself, seemed rushed, and acted like taking our order was an inconvenience.
My usual sweet Arnold Palmer was awful just sugary water with no real lemonade or tea flavor. The conch fritters were overcooked, bland, and even the dipping sauce had no taste.
We used to love this place, but in recent years it has truly “fallen off the edge.” What was once a great spot with friendly staff and good vibes is now not worth the time or drive. We still paid the check, left a 20% tip, and went to another restaurant right after just to actually satisfy our hunger.
