5 /5 Cynthia Cook: Ok so if you read my reviews you know how picky I am. But let me tell yall I have found a hidden gem. This place has been here 30 years. Family own and operated. The food is fabulous. The fried chicken the best Ive had in a long time. Fried green tomatoes. They were crispy, but flaky at the same time. If you like green tomatoes your gonna love these. And when we say mashed taters we mean real potatoes. Everything and I mean everything ,and I mean I tried it all was just fabulous.
The staff and owner are the true meaning of hospitality, and while there you can hear the locals sharing there lifes with each other. Everyone was so friendly. I will be returning to try the seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. I hear they have fresh mullet. Get there before 2:30 they only serve lunch and weekend dinner.
By the way great afternoon drive to a very qaint little town. Only about 14 miles off the I 10. Well worth the drive.
And did I mention its all you can eat!
