4 /5 Kara Cowley: Went to breakfast here on a Sunday morning at about 10am with my son. The wait was about 30 minutes which was expected, but the good news is they have a few yard games set up outside where there happened to be lots of other families with small kids playing while we waited, so it was great to let him burn off a little steam and work up an appetite before going inside to eat! The food was pretty good, nothing blew me away but it was fresh and tasty. I got a latte, orange juice, the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, kids chicken tenders and fruit, and fish and grits with a biscuit and bacon to go for my husband at home and total came to $60 something dollars before tip.
Our server was an older woman and she was lovely. Very warm and inviting manners. The food runner was also an older gentleman who was nice enough to ask us if there was anything else we needed when he dropped off our food. He also unexpectedly brought out a little cup of whipped cream with sprinkles for my son after he was done eating and getting antsy while I finished my food. What a nice little way to keep my toddler happy! Those little gestures go a long way for parents like me who dine with small kids.
This is a great spot we enjoyed :)
