5 /5 Chris Ritz: Excellent pizza. I’m an enthusiast who’s eaten pizza all over the world and at all the famous places. This Marguerite pizza is right there with the greats. Maybe the crust could have been proofed a little longer for more depth, but I won’t take anything away from it. Also, maybe could have raised the pizza in the dome at the end for more of a top cook - but again, won’t take anything away. This is award winning pie.
The crust was well made, the perfect chew and crunch with the start of a flavor depth. Sauce uses great tomatoes - guessing San Marzano. They’re enhanced with a tiny bit of salt and evoo. Yummy. The high moisture mozzarella is a great choice. And the fresh basil. Wow.
Overall - excellent pie. Can’t wait to come back. Luckily my sister lives 5 minutes away.
