5 /5 Karol D.: Yesterday, my family and I visited Sabor a Colombia in Winter Park, and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is family-owned, and you can feel it right away — the staff was warm and welcoming, and it felt comfortable to be there.
We ordered the bandeja paisa, and it honestly tasted like home cooking. I also couldn’t resist the pan de bono and buñuelos, which were just right and brought back so many memories. What really touched me was when the owner, a sweet lady, came out to our table and brought us a plate of caldo de costilla. It was delicious, and for me it was like being back in my childhood when my aunt would make that soup every day.
I enjoyed the whole experience so much that I’m planning to take my fiancé there for breakfast soon — he loves Migao Paisa, and they make a version I’m excited for him to try.
It’s also a very family-friendly spot, and I was glad to see there’s plenty of parking (always a plus in Winter Park!). If you want an authentic taste of Colombian food in a welcoming place, this is worth visiting.
