3 /5 Nickolas Whidden: I hate leaving marginal reviews, but feel obligated to be honest. Lets start with plus, nice atmosphere and the service was great. The chicken tenders are very good. The grilled cheese was mixed bag. My son said it was ok my wife wasnt a fan. The street corn and fries were excellent.
Many of the items were bland to flavorless. For a place that claims to have best burgers in town I was frankly shocked how little flavor that burger had. I had the Its on fire which should have been an explosion of flavor. The brisket, short rib, and Chuck burger should have been great flavor. It was not. Tasted like a no name over compressed frozen burger. They claim not frozen for the record. I didnt even finish it leaving nearly a third. Perhaps a new chef who forgot the seasoning. My daughter had a bread less cheese steak. This was a huge miss and should have been sent back. The steak was warm-ish at best. There were no onions and only green peppers. No onions sure impacts the lack of flavor here. It wasnt good. Finally the French onion dip was incredibly bland. Tasted like sour cream with some green onion slices on top. Nothing like a French onion dip. It was sour cream with and unnoticed flavor. Wish we had something different.
