5 /5 Channing VanGoey: Could not ask for more. Came here on Saturday afternoon and Mike the owner immediately greeted us from behind the bar. He was standing and talking with other customers, taking orders and serving drinks. We decided to sit inside despite the large patio out back. The food (3 meat plate and lean brisket plate) were both delicious. The brisket had a great bark! A couple of days later we ran into Mike at another lunch place in town and he immediately recognized us. What a great experience and establishment. We will be back!

2 /5 Corbin: This was a tough experience. Priced like a popular Texas spot but I didnt find the quality in the food. Brisket sandwich was very dry, cold meat with bark hard as fiberglass. We also had a brisket loaded potato. Brisket again was very dry also. Zero smoke taste, smell or flavor but a greasy taste. Maybe this is the local way. The BBQ truck by the bridge had the same taste but much juicer. Just our first impression. And only one staff member running the whole place so I had to fill my own drink a few times. Best of luck.

5 /5 JANET LOCKERBIE: The owner was our preparer and server in this off-season time of year. He was very upbeat, friendly, and on top of things. We got pulled pork, beans, brunswick stew. There were 4 different sauces. It was all delicious. We look forward to going back. Highly recommend.

5 /5 Catie Campbell: Went yesterday afternoon around 2:30 and it was the perfect time. Got a menu, picked a place to sit, ordered at the bar. I love that kind of set up. I had the brisket baker potato and WOW. Im not big on bbq, but this place knows how to do it! The grape habanero sauce was so perfect with it.. had to have the smoked mac n cheese. What do ya know, that was perfect too. Cant wait to come back and bring friends. Great outdoor seating!
