4 /5 Thomas Mertz: St. Augustine Seafood Company has a rustic atmosphere and spotty service but the food was fabulous. There is limited indoor seating but more outside. The bar is next door in a separate building so alcoholic drinks must be purchased separately. You order at the counter; the food is brought to the table and the staff bus the table. The four of us ordered conch fritters, peel & eat shrimp, cilantro slaw, and taco bowls. It was all good, although the fritters were very dark, almost burnt. (Had I been alone, I wouldve sent them back.) The shrimp was cooked in some sort of spiced brine that made them so delicious, I didnt bother with cocktail sauce. The main issue with the service is that they completely forgot my order and served everyone else. I had to go ask what was up, and even then they seemed confused, but finally came through with my meal.
