3 /5 Diego Pasca: The expectation for the best burger on the treasure coast is high, unfortunately for this meal, it fell short of the mark.
I did a take out order for dinner tonight. I always enjoy doing a sample of popular choices I see in other reviews or what catches my eye reading the plate descriptions.
Three of us shared this meal, which consisted of:
The sticky rib appetizer
The PBJ Burger w sweet potato fries
The Stack Burger w regular fries
The Bison Burger w tator tots
Mac and Cheese
The sticky ribs were excellent. This was the highlight of the order. I’d definitely give their entree a try to see if it matches up.
To preface, we ordered all 3 burgers medium rare. Sadly only 1 arrived cooked properly.
The PBJ Burger has potential. The PB is a little over powering, the fried bacon might be a bit too much and there was definitely not enough of the jam to taste it properly. The burger was well done.
The stack burger was cooked medium rare, this was probably the best of the 3. I will say the stack sauce was over abundant, which took away from the meat.
The Bison burger was a disappointment. Very overcooked. The greens were soggy. The Gouda was too thick and not melted through.
The tator tots and regular fries were very good. Crispy and not overly greasy. The sweet potato fries were very overcooked.
Mac and cheese missed the mark sadly. It could’ve been due to it being take out, but it was sadly hard and cold when it arrived.
Overall, it wasn’t the worst thing we’ve all ever eaten, but fell short of being the best burger in treasure coast.
