5 /5 Unique Explores: First time dining at The Black Eyed Pea and was very impressed in our experience!!! Upon entry we were told we can sit anywhere we want which was nice. Had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer which was great!!! All the food came out hot and full of flavor!!! Sweet tea was excellent!! Restaurant inside was quaint with nice old Florida murals painted on the walls…In addition, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming!!! Definitely recommend if you enjoy southern style food!!!

5 /5 Al Gonzalez: This small mom-and-pop restaurant truly feels like home the moment you walk in. The service is warm and genuine—like being welcomed into someone’s kitchen. The food and the atmosphere both have that comforting, home-style feel that’s getting harder to find. The Big Daddy bacon cheeseburger was absolutely phenomenal—packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely something I’ll come back for. Their breakfast, too, was delicious and hearty, just the way a good hometown spot should be. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a cozy vibe, and service that makes you feel like family, this is it. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Bill Austin: I have eaten here for years when Im camping in Dade City. Usually for breakfast. I like all the breakfast items I have had. The cheeseburger all the way is so good I only order that for lunch. Extremely popular with locals which says a lot. Parking lot is often full and restaurant always have lots of diners.

5 /5 Benjamin Chewning: This food was delicious! Just like Mommas house, lol. All joking aside...the food reminds me of home cookin and I didnt leave one drop or crumb. I had Country Fried Steak, with Vlack eyed Peas, Collard Greens, and Lima Beans. I could have eaten a whole pot of the Limas by myself , they were perfect. Great place and I will definitely be back. Thanks!
