5 /5 Ryan Clarke: The food and atmosphere were awesome but no one ever came to our table. I dined with a friend of my mine that says the good and decor is sick at this place. ALL OF THAT IS TRUE. However thats the end of it, I get it we order at the counter and served our own drinks at the fountain machine but if I would have know that I wouldnt have tipped $5 on a $24 burger. I was expecting my drink to at least be topped off or something since there was a tip line. I give 5 stars because enjoyed myself and the food was great, large portion of fries and loads of cheese on the Hawg burger but with a burger that big and a pile of fries that high some kind of service would have been nice. I refilled my own drink twice.

2 /5 Adam Phelps: Honestly, the place looks nice, but the prices are outrageous. I could get 2 mels elsewhere for the price of one meal here, and honestly, I wasnt impressed with the food. I paid for my friend and I so it ended up being a heftly bill. Atmosphere is okay but I just cant give them anything better because they didnt have a meal I saw cheaper than 15.99, and they only had one option I liked to begin with. I paid 16.99 for chicken fingers. They do have a nice place for dogs to come to, but they make you order inside even if you have dogs. I went inside to ask and they sent someone outside only to tell us to go inside and buy the meals. Very counter-productive. At the price they charge, it should be free table service.

3 /5 L BL: The Chop Shop was just okay. The patty melt was average—the bread was way bigger than the meat. My kids liked their cheeseburgers, but the fries were bland and forgettable. The women’s bathroom stalls were tight, and our table was a bit sticky, though the place wasn’t dirty overall. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not impressive. I probably wouldn’t go back by choice, but it’s fine for a quick, casual meal.

5 /5 Steve Cooper: I was craving a burger and decided to stop at the chop shop. I saw it last time I was in Lakeland and they had their menu outside by the street and I said to myself, “I wanna try this” cuz the burgers looked so good and the place was packed. It was worth the wait. I ordered the blue suede burger and the von Dutch. Oh man! The blue suede was soooo good. The blue cheese they used was fresh and soft. It wasn’t dry and crumbly like most blue cheese tends to be. It was almost like a spread. It was absolutely delicious. Some of it fell off my burger and I used my fork to pick it up and eat it by itself. It was that good. The burger came stacked high with a huge fried onion ring with super crispy breading. Made to order, they were both cooked to perfection. The von Dutch was amazing also. Our waitress said these are two of the top selling burgers. The fries kind of remind me of a much higher end steak and shake fry. They were quite delicious. I ordered a sweet tea and my wife ordered a water without meals and the total was under $38. You can’t find two gourmet burgers anywhere for under $40. I actually can’t wait to go back cuz I wanna try the breakfast burgers looked that has egg and bacon on it. This place is awesome as you can see in my pics. Go here. I’m telling you, you won’t be disappointed. And if you are, the problem is you. I’ll be back for certain.
