5 /5 Joe Pennetti: My wife and I just finished brunch at The Glass Knife, and we’re still talking about how good everything was. The whole place has such a warm, inviting feel, and the staff made the experience genuinely pleasant from the start. They have plenty of indoor seating and a really nice patio as well. As an added bonus they have a beautiful holiday tree up!
I ordered the shakshuka, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had, so good. The sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right touch of heat, and the bread they served with it was unbelievable, perfect for scooping and soaking up every bit. My wife went with the biscuit platter and couldn’t stop praising the egg soufflé. The biscuits were crusty, crumbly and tender all at the same time. She really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes too, so flavorful.
We also shared a glazed donut (lots of fancy options too but we went for simple) and it ended up being one of the highlights. Soft, lightly crisp on the outside, and not overly sweet, really well done. I wrapped everything up with a latte that was smooth and balanced, really enjoyable.
Big shout out to Roma for taking such good care of us!
Overall it was one of the most enjoyable brunches we’ve had in a long time. The Glass Knife absolutely delivered. Well be back for sure.
