1 /5 Cindy Ferguson: I was at the Punta Gorda airport allegiant the little efficiency store right there in front of gate six I was getting something to drink for me and my granddaughter and some snacks and the young lady that was checking me out. Asked me if I wanted my receipt. I said, yes, she gave it to me as she was given it to me. A lot of paper was thrown past my face and hit a gentleman in his back that was walking out The other the guy that checked him out beside me was a black guy. The guy walking out was a white gentleman The Guy said what was that and your employee said that’s your receipt if you don’t want it throw it in the trashcan out out past the door to the right he said I didn’t want my receipt. He said you got your damn receipt so you throw it away and threw it at him and hit him in the back I could not believe for the life of me that I just witnessed that and employee throwing a receipt and hitting the guy in the back no granted that receipt was not gonna hurt him or damage him, but it was the Inexperienced, poor judgment not so great customer service to that gentleman he picked it up off the floor and walked over to my lady that checked me out and said do you have a trashcan back there that gentleman then screamed at that guy again and said no you can’t use the trashcan back here. It’s outside the door. That’s your receipt that gentleman needs to be fired or taken away from the Front position of that store. He is not customer service. He gives a poor representation of Black people. My son-in-law is a black man, and he would never think about acting or talking like that to anyone of any color, but he definitely had a problem with that white gentleman do better in training your front line people which is also what I call on stage people. They are always on stage when you were in customer service you have to watch what you do your words and how you react that was only a few few minutes from my granddaughter space and mine Review your cameras I would’ve been there about our flight took off at 4:12 so I arrived at the airport somewhere between 130 and two so it would’ve been by the time I got through the gate and everything or security so right in between them so review your tapes And see how your employee acted. I almost called security, but I didn’t want to get involved because I felt like it would make it a bigger scene and you already had some allegiant employees not being very kind and then this guy poor experience.
