1 /5 Blaine Bugaski: The atmosphere at The Sullivan Public House is undeniably its strongest asset. The hand-carved woodwork provides a truly authentic and welcoming ambiance.
Unfortunately, recent operational changes and service execution have made a return visit unlikely for us. The decision to eliminate the food menu, while perhaps understandable from a business perspective, removes a key draw.
More concerning, however, is the managements response to similar feedback online. The tone in replies—which often seems condescending and dismissive of customer experience—is a major turn-off. In a customer-facing business, this attitude is a critical misstep.
Last night highlighted ongoing operational issues. Early in the evening, ordering drinks was pure chaos due to a very long line. Furthermore, we observed a troubling pattern where the female bartender routinely ignored mixed drink orders, prioritizing faster, "easier" serves like shots and beers. This wasnt an isolated incident; other patrons at the bar noted the exact same frustrating experience.
In summary, the excellent environment can no longer compensate for these service and operational shortcomings. We wont be returning.
