The Ugly Grouper - Holmes Beach (FL)

5 /5 Blasia Baker: This place is fantastic. We stopped in after walking over at Robinson Preserve on a beautiful day in January. The live acoustic music was really nice and at the perfect volume, not too loud. The grouper tacos, clam chowder, and island chicken sandwich were all phenomenal. Also shout out to Sam for the great service!

5 /5 Colene Horton-Staton: This was our very first dinner during our stay on AMI. The outside patio is great and they had awesome live music. The band was interactive and gave my son a tambourine to play with while all the kids danced. We ordered the crab cake fried green tomatoes and the grouper nugget dinner with pineapple coleslaw and Caribbean rice. I personally do not like coleslaw but theirs was absolutely delicious! We ordered the fish & chips for my son and he loved it too! Once more of our friends made it to town we all met up there for a group dinner another night and it was awesome. Everyone enjoyed themselves and they can accommodate large tables. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Jessica Sloan: We love the ugly grouper! Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat for dinner & had another great experience (as usual)! To eat, we had the grouper tacos and the fish and chips. There’s a reason the grouper tacos are a top pick - the cheese shell really take the tacos to the next level. While a tid bit on the messy side, it’s well worth it!!

3 /5 Mel Z: We went for an early dinner and the hostess and our server were friendly and attentive. As for the food, it lacked flavor. We ordered the Coastal Clam Chowder (tasted like it was out of a bag and super thick), the Angus burger (basic) and the Mahi Sandwich. It is a convenient spot for a quick bite, but not what we were expecting.
