3 /5 Leah Jorgensen: We have been going to Wheelers for breakfast for years and when we went in this time we discovered they have new owners. While we used to absolutely love going to Wheelers, this time left more to be desired. While the waitress was friendly and we received our food in a timely fashion the food overall was not what it used to be. I ordered scrambled eggs, but they came out not scrambled- more like cooked over hard and then cut up. Additionally, the biscuit was much smaller and was burnt on the bottom. This is not good nor bad, but there are many subtle changes to the food such as their hashbrowns are different, the way the omelet is prepared, and the biscuit. The menu has changed and prices have increased. Truly the food wasnt bad, but it wasnt exceptional like we have grown to expect from Wheelers in the past. I know taking over a business comes with challenges, but I hope the kinks get worked out soon!
